Overview
The General Store is the first shop most players visit on Starsand Island. It sits on the main road in Starsand Town and is run by Zerine, the Crafter profession mentor. The store operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, making it one of only two shops that never closes (the other being the Soluna Cafe Lodge). It has the largest selection of blueprints in the game, focused on crafting stations, tool upgrades, storage expansion, and late-game automation.
The store also serves as the primary place to sell items. Use the cash register to sell anything from fish to ores to cooked food. This is where you will convert most of your surplus inventory into Coins.
Free Equipment Blueprint Pack
A free Equipment Blueprint Pack is available at the cash register. Pick it up as soon as you enter the shop. Without these four stations, you cannot begin crafting at all:

Blueprint | Function |
|---|---|
Cutter I | Processes wood into planks and lumber |
Burns wood into charcoal (fuel for furnaces) | |
Furnace I | Smelts ores into ingots (Copper, Tin, etc.) |
Separates compound materials into components |
General Supplies
Beyond blueprints, Zerine stocks everyday supplies:
Category | Items |
|---|---|
Crafting materials | Fiber (5 Coins, unlimited stock), Wood, Stone, and other common resources |
Hot Spring Tickets | 100 Coins each; used at Hot Springs for stamina recovery (1 stamina/second) |
Snacks and drinks | Quick consumables for minor stamina recovery |
Basic tools | Starting-quality watering cans, hoes, axes, pickaxes |
Fiber at 5 Coins per unit is unlimited stock. This is worth knowing because Fiber is used in dozens of early recipes and running out while gathering can slow you down.
Blueprint Inventory by Crafter Tier
As your Crafter profession level increases, more blueprints become available. Prices are listed in Coins. See Crafter Trial Walkthroughs for details on advancing your certification.

Machete | 2,500 Coins | Cuts through dense vegetation and weeds quickly |

The Junior tier is where crafting progression really takes off. Furnace II, Worktable II, and Cutter II are mandatory upgrades. Without them, you cannot process Iron, craft mid-tier vehicles, or build most building components.
Intermediate Crafter
Blueprint | Price | Description |
|---|---|---|
Blast Hammer | 8,000 Coins | Top-tier hammer; breaks boulders and hard materials |
Sharp Machete | 7,000 Coins | Upgraded machete for clearing tough vegetation |
Energy Converter | 3,000 Coins | Produces reactors and batteries from processed materials |
7,500 Coins | Dimensional storage with large capacity accessible from anywhere |
The Energy Converter is needed for the Intermediate Crafter Trial and is required to produce Reactors, a component used in vehicles, the Teleporter, and other advanced machines. The Realm Box is one of the best quality-of-life purchases in the game, giving you a large portable storage accessible from anywhere.
Senior Crafter
Blueprint | Price | Description |
|---|---|---|
22,000 Coins | Motorized mining tool; consumes energy but mines much faster than pickaxes | |
22,000 Coins | Motorized logging tool; consumes energy but chops much faster than axes | |
Worktable III | 1,100 Coins | Unlocks top-tier crafting recipes and late-game vehicles |
Cutter III | 1,100 Coins | Processes Premium Wood and the highest-tier lumber |
The Electric Drill and Chainsaw are expensive but transform resource gathering. They consume energy instead of stamina, meaning you can mine and chop indefinitely as long as you have batteries.
Expert Crafter
Blueprint | Price | Description |
|---|---|---|
55,000 Coins | Automated mining; gathers ore while you do other tasks | |
55,000 Coins | Automated tree chopping; gathers wood automatically | |
55,000 Coins | Automated foraging; collects materials from the field | |
50,000 Coins | Automated insect catching; captures bugs passively | |
Teleporter | 35,000 Coins | Instant travel point; place anywhere and warp to it from your phone |
Expert-tier automation machines are the endgame for the Crafter profession. Mining, Logging, and Gathering Robots run on their own and deposit collected resources into nearby chests. The Teleporter lets you place custom fast travel points anywhere on the island, complementing the bus stop network.
Ore Analyzer
The Ore Analyzer blueprint becomes available at Junior or Intermediate Crafter level. It processes Common Ore Chunks (found throughout the Moonlit Forest) into random resources, including potentially rare Ancient Precision Parts. Building one costs 8 Hardwood and 2 Copper Sheets. Processing ore chunks is one of the most reliable ways to obtain rare crafting materials.

Zerine
Zerine relocated to Starsand Island six months before the game begins. Her grandmother Hattie is a long-time island resident who influenced the move. Zerine is a prodigy who completed an accelerated academic program at age 10 and initially worked at a research institute. The collaborative environment proved overwhelming for her, and she departed after just one week to move in with Hattie. She converted her grandmother's old grocery store into the thriving General Store while continuing independent scientific research on the side.

Zerine is shy and struggles with social anxiety, though she internally desires meaningful connections. She spends most of her time operating the shop and leaves daily at noon to have lunch with Hattie. Behind the store is Zerine's basement workshop where she works on personal research projects. Her apartment is upstairs (accessible at 3+ hearts). She gives you your first skateboard when you reach Apprentice Crafter rank.

Tips
Grab the free Equipment Blueprint Pack immediately. You need those four stations (Cutter I, Charcoal Kiln, Furnace I, Separator) to start crafting. Do not leave the store without it.
The 24-hour schedule makes this a reliable fallback when other shops are closed at night.
Hot Spring Tickets (100 Coins each) are one of the best early-game purchases for stamina management.
Check back after each Crafter rank-up. Furnace II and Worktable II (Junior tier) are mandatory for progression beyond basic materials.
The Quick Shipping Box (Junior, 2,500 Coins) lets you sell items without walking to a shop. Items sell at a slightly reduced price, but the convenience is worth it.
The Realm Box (Intermediate, 7,500 Coins) is accessible from anywhere and holds a large amount of items. It is one of the best quality-of-life purchases in the game.
Expert-tier robots (55,000 Coins each) are expensive but pay for themselves quickly through automated resource gathering.
Fiber is sold for 5 Coins with unlimited stock. If you run out mid-crafting session, buy a stack instead of farming more.
