Overview
The Crafter profession is mentored by Zerine at the General Store. It is widely considered the first profession players should pursue because it unlocks the crafting stations and tools needed for every other profession. The Crafter questline has five tiers, each with a certification quest and sometimes an additional trial.
Tier | Key Unlock |
|---|---|
Apprentice | Skateboard, Workpedia, Separator, Furnace I, Cutter I, Charcoal Kiln |
Junior | Ore Analyzer, Rollerblades, Furnace II, Worktable II, Cutter II, Gear Smith |
Intermediate | |
Senior | |
Expert | Teleporter, Robot Terminal, Mining/Logging/Gathering Robots |
Apprentice Crafter
Certification: Build a Skateboard
Visit Zerine at the General Store and accept the Crafter profession.
Go to the store register and pick up the free Equipment Blueprint Pack, which includes Furnace I, Cutter I, Charcoal Kiln, and Separator blueprints.
Build a Furnace I and a Cutter I at your home workstation.
Gather Copper Ore from copper nodes near your house or in the starting area. You need at least 12 Copper Ore (4 ore per ingot, 3 ingots needed).
Smelt the Copper Ore into 3 Copper Ingots at the Furnace I.
Chop trees to get Softwood, then process it into 3 Softwood Planks at the Cutter I.
Craft the Skateboard at your Worktable (3 Softwood Planks + 3 Copper Ingots).
Show the Skateboard to Neona for inspection, then return to Zerine to complete the certification.

Trial: Light Up the Night
Pick up Stella's request "Light Up the Night!" from the Bulletin Board outside the Community Center.
Craft a Simple Street Lamp. Materials needed:
Material | Quantity | Source |
|---|---|---|
Copper Ore | 12+ | Mine in starting area or Moonlit Forest |
Softwood | 6+ | Chop trees |
Fiber | Several | Cut bushes |
Fluorite | 8 | Moonlit Forest mining |
Quartz | 8 | Moonlit Forest mining |
Deliver the crafted Street Lamp to Stella to complete the trial.

Junior Crafter
Certification: Ore Analyzer and Rollerblades
Speak to Zerine to start the Junior trial. She asks you to build an Ore Analyzer and craft Rollerblades.
Build the Ore Analyzer workstation. This station processes raw ore chunks into refined materials.
Collect Common Ore Chunks from mining veins. These are random drops, not guaranteed per vein. You may need to mine extensively in the Moonlit Forest.
Process 5 Common Ore Chunks in the Ore Analyzer to extract Ancient Gear Parts and other rare components.
Craft the Rollerblades using the extracted materials (faster than the Skateboard).
Show the Rollerblades to Zerine to complete the certification.
Trial: Gear Smith
Zerine asks you to build a Gear Smith workstation and craft a specific item.
Build the Gear Smith (requires Iron Ingots and Copper Ingots).
Collect Iridescent Sand from the Moonlit Forest. It appears as sparkling spots on the ground.
Craft the requested item at the Gear Smith using Iridescent Sand and other materials.

Tips
Start the Crafter profession first. Nearly every other profession requires crafting stations that are unlocked through the Crafter questline.
Always carry a Pickaxe and Axe when entering the Moonlit Forest. You will encounter ore veins and wood sources needed for Crafter materials throughout the dungeon.
Upgrade your Furnace and Worktable as soon as each tier becomes available. Higher-tier stations can process everything lower-tier ones can, plus new materials.
Common Ore Chunks are the biggest bottleneck at the Junior tier. Mine every vein you see in the Moonlit Forest and always carry an Ore Analyzer on trips.
For the Intermediate trial, gather all sub-materials before starting to craft the Energy Converter. The component chain is deep, and running back to the Moonlit Forest mid-craft wastes time.
The Skateboard is consumed when you craft the Waverider at Senior tier. Make sure you have a backup vehicle (Rollerblades) before upgrading.
