Major Uses
Fishing Rods. Several fishing rod blueprints from Delphin at the AquaBlue Outpost call for Hemp Rope. See Fishing Rods for the full progression chain.
Building and fences. Hemp Rope is a common ingredient in fence, decorative rope, and outdoor Building recipes.
Crafting station construction. Several mid-game Crafting Stations list Hemp Rope as a build material, including textile-related stations and storage upgrades.
Furniture upholstery. Some Lex Woodworks pieces, particularly hammocks and rope-trimmed seating, use Hemp Rope.
Friendship Collar and pet items. The Friendship Collar and several Pet Outfits recipes list Hemp Rope as a component.
Tips
Buy Fiber when in a hurry. Fiber sells for 5 Coins each at Zerine's General Store with infinite stock. Buying is faster than bushwhacking when you need a Hemp Rope batch.
Run Spinning Wheel batches in parallel. The Spinning Wheel is a passive station. Two Wheels handling Fiber means Hemp Rope and Thread can both stockpile while you do other tasks.
Stockpile before building runs. Hemp Rope demand spikes during fence-building and station-construction sessions. Have 30 to 50 on hand before starting a building project.
