Overview
The Happiness Seed Shop is the island's dedicated farming supply store, run by Graminova, the Farmer profession mentor. Located in Starsand Town next to Ethereal Styles, near the plaza across from the General Store. The shop is open 10 AM to 9 PM daily. You can browse and purchase items by interacting with the cash register inside the shop; Graminova does not need to be standing at the counter for you to buy things.
The shop stocks over 50 seed varieties, fertilizers, pesticides, and blueprints for farming equipment. Seed availability is gated by your current Farmer certification rank, but seeds themselves are not restricted by season. You can buy and stockpile any unlocked seed at any time of year, which makes it possible to prepare for an upcoming season in advance.

Expert-tier crops are the most profitable in the game but take the longest to grow. Several of them (Star Mango, Jadeplum, Zapwood) are tree saplings that produce fruit across multiple seasons once mature.
Blueprint Inventory by Farmer Tier
Farming blueprints unlock alongside your Farmer certification rank. These blueprints are purchased once and learned permanently, allowing you to craft the item at your workbench whenever you have the required materials.

Fertilizer Types
The shop sells two categories of fertilizer. Both can also be crafted at home using the Fertilizer Box blueprints listed above.

Both fertilizer types stack with sprinkler systems. Higher-tier Fertilizer Boxes let you produce better fertilizer at home rather than buying it, which saves significant money at scale.
Graminova
Graminova is a native of Starsand Island and your childhood neighbor. His parents are Sagewood and Matilda. He was the province's top scorer on the university entrance exams and chose to study agriculture at 18. After earning his PhD at 25 and completing a postdoctoral fellowship, he returned to the island at 27 to dedicate himself to soil and crop research, developing hybrid crops suited to island conditions.

Despite appearing distant at first, Graminova is quietly thoughtful and kind. He helps neighbors with crop problems without seeking recognition. His mornings are spent conducting agricultural experiments in the fields near the shop. In the afternoon he works the shop counter and focuses on crop research. On rainy days he stays indoors at the Seed Shop all day. He unwinds by listening to classical music.
Gift Preferences
Graminova's favorite gift is Wheat Seeds. He loves Cucumber. He likes Wheat, Coconut, and Chilled Twilight Salad. He dislikes Feather, Veggie Bait, and Softwood. Graminova is fully romanceable, and reaching Level 5 Affection allows you to ask him to move in.
Tips
Seed availability is gated by Farmer rank. Advance your profession to unlock more profitable crops.
Seeds are not season-locked in the shop. Buy seeds for next season before it starts so you can plant on day one.
The Grinder (Senior tier) is a turning point for farming income. It converts harvested crops back into seeds, so you stop spending money on seeds entirely.
The Greenhouse Building Manual (Expert tier, 55,000 Coins) lets you grow any crop year-round. This is the single biggest farming upgrade in the game.
Sprinklers are the highest-priority early purchase. The basic Sprinkler (Junior tier) eliminates daily watering, saving enormous amounts of stamina and time.
Pumpkins and watermelons can mutate into giant crops when planted in a 3x3 formation. These sell for significantly more than normal harvests.
Some crops require paddy fields or trellises to grow. Check the crop description before buying seeds.
Raising rabbits with Pastelle at the Green Pasture Ranch provides natural weed management, reducing the need for pesticides.
