This article has been recognized for its exceptional quality and comprehensive coverage.
Starsand Town is the main commercial and social hub of Starsand Island. The town features Chinese-inspired architecture with colorful street stalls, wisteria-covered walkways, and a warm, vibrant atmosphere. Nearly all of the island's shops, restaurants, and services are concentrated here, making it the center of daily life for both residents and the player.
The Plaza is the central gathering area of Starsand Town, surrounded by shops and restaurants. It features an outdoor theater near Lex Woodworks, wisteria-covered walkways, and colorful street stalls. NPCs wander the plaza throughout the day and gather here in the evenings. Several Parkour Puzzles can be found on fences and railings around the plaza.
Solara works at the Community Center as the mayor's assistant. This is where you go to receive profession certifications and handle town business. The park in front of the Community Center is a popular gathering spot.
The Bulletin Board is located right outside the Community Center. Players can accept up to 4 daily requests from town residents.
Requests involve gathering or crafting items for NPCs.
Rewards include Coins, Affection Points (15–25), and Starsand Points.
Completing 5 Bulletin Board requests is required to unlock Land Expansion at Hopeland.
Requests have a star-rated difficulty system. Avoid 3-star jobs early on as they are strictly timed.
The central Fast Travel hub connects to 9 other bus stations across the island. Unlocked by completing the "Building Starsand Station" quest from Solara (requires cooking 4 Soup Dumplings). Travel costs 15 Gold per trip.

Starsand Town can feel overwhelming at first because of how many shops and NPCs are packed into one area. Here are some practical tips for making the most of your visits:
Tip | Details |
|---|---|
Visit the General Store first | It is open 24 hours and has the widest selection of blueprints for tools and processing equipment. Buying the right blueprints early saves a lot of money compared to purchasing finished items. |
Check the Bulletin Board daily | The 4 daily requests are one of the best ways to earn Affection Points and Starsand Points. Stick to 1-star and 2-star requests early on; 3-star jobs have strict time limits that can catch beginners off guard. |
Plan around Marlo's hours | Marlo's Morning Delights closes at 11:00 AM, so grab breakfast early if you want the buff. The food buffs are especially helpful before heading into the Moonlit Forest. |
Use Vending Machines at night | When all the NPC-run shops close at 10:00 PM, Vending Machines remain available 24/7 for basic supplies. Prices are slightly higher than shop prices, but they are the only option during nighttime hours. |
Sell high-value goods at the Merchant Ship | The Starsand Port Merchant Ship buys items at 200% value, making it the best outlet for selling processed goods. Stock refreshes every Monday, so plan your sales around that weekly cycle. |
Hunt for Treasure Chests | Starsand Town has hidden Treasure Chests in easy-to-miss spots like behind cash registers, inside shop kitchens, and near Parkour Puzzles. Exploring every building thoroughly pays off. |
