Zerine runs the General Store in Starsand Town and is the mentor for the Crafter profession. She is shy and timid but deeply skilled at making things. The General Store is one of the first shops you will visit: it sells tools, materials, and the largest selection of blueprints on the island.

Zerine is reserved, hardworking, and deeply passionate about her craft. She tends to stay behind the counter or in her basement workshop rather than socializing around town. She is not unfriendly, just genuinely shy. Once she warms up to you, she reveals a dry sense of humor and a genuine excitement about crafting techniques.
Zerine was a child prodigy who completed an accelerated educational program by age 10 and landed a research position. She found teamwork overwhelming due to social difficulties and quit after one week. Her grandmother Hattie grew up on Starsand Island, and Zerine visited during childhood holidays. She eventually moved to the island to live with Hattie, transforming the old grocery store into Zerine's General Store. She relocated six months before the start of the game.
Zerine spends most of her time in the General Store, but she does leave for lunch.

The General Store is open 24 hours, which has a self-checkout register for daytime purchases when Zerine is away. Self-checkout terminals are available even when Zerine is not at the counter.

The General Store is the most important shop for blueprints and crafting supplies. It has the widest inventory of any vendor on the island. Higher-tier blueprints unlock as you advance through the Crafter profession.

Zerine triggers a special meet-cute cutscene the first time you interact with her. Her romance arc revolves around building trust with someone who is deeply private. As your Affection grows, she shares more about her passion for crafting and her hidden ambitions for the General Store.
At Heart Level 3, you can enter her apartment above the General Store (stairs to the left of the building), which contains a treasure chest with exclusive decor. At Heart Level 5, you can ask her to move in with you. She will then help around the farm: clearing debris, tending animals, and watering plants.
