Alloy
Alloy is a late-game metallic crafting output in Starsand Island. It is smelted at the Furnace II by combining one Gold Ingot, one Iron Ingot, and one Copper Ingot with Coal as fuel. Alloy is the bridge material between mid-game iron-and-bronze recipes and late-game crystal-and-aurorite recipes, appearing in the Worktable III upgrade, the Blast Hammer, the Energy Converter, and the Spirit Cube III crafting chain.

Major Uses
Worktable III upgrade. The Senior Crafter Worktable upgrade requires multiple Alloy units alongside Gold Ingots and Premium Wood.
Blast Hammer. The Senior pickaxe upgrade includes Alloy as a key ingredient.
Energy Converter. The Energy Converter station, which produces Solid-State Battery, Mini Reactor, and Perpetual Reactor, uses Alloy in its construction.
Spirit Cube III. Spirit Cube III is crafted from 2 Spirit Cube II + 2 Alloy. Spirit Cube III feeds Teleporters, Robot Terminals, and endgame automation.
Sharp Machete. Uses Alloy alongside Premium Wood, Starflare Crystals, Rubber, and an Impact Hammer or Machete.
Tips
Each Alloy uses 4 Gold + 4 Iron + 4 Copper raw ore. Smelting cost is significant. Plan a deep forest trip with all three ores in mind before committing to Alloy production.
Build Furnace II early. Furnace II unlocks Iron, Gold, and Alloy smelting in one upgrade. Without it, the entire late-game crafting tree is gated.
Stockpile 6 to 10 Alloy for Worktable III. The upgrade and adjacent recipes burn through Alloy quickly. Build a buffer rather than smelting on demand.
Save Alloy for Spirit Cube III. If you plan to craft Teleporters or Robot Terminals, reserve at least 4 Alloy for the Spirit Cube chain.
