Overview
Starsand Island includes a Redeem Gift system that allows players to enter promotional codes for free in-game rewards. The system is built into the main menu and has been active since the Early Access launch in February 2026. Seed Sparkle Lab, the game's developer, implemented the redemption feature from the very first build and has continued to optimize it in subsequent patches.
As of April 18, 2026, no public redeem codes have been released. The redemption system is fully functional, and codes are expected to arrive alongside future content updates, seasonal events, milestone celebrations, or goodwill events such as the Shining Star Outfit Set distribution tied to the April 10 Content Adjustment Announcement. When codes do become available, they will distribute free resources, cosmetic items, furniture, and other rewards directly to your in-game mailbox.
This page is updated whenever a confirmed code is released. Until then, the Shining Star Outfit Set is the only active compensation item and will be distributed automatically to all players rather than via a code. See the Shining Star Outfit Set article for claim details.
How to Redeem Codes
The Redeem Gift option is accessible at any time through the main menu. You do not need to reach a specific point in the story or complete any quests to use it.
Open the main menu by pressing Esc on PC or the Menu/Start button on an Xbox controller. This is the system pause menu, not the in-game phone interface.
Select "Redeem Gift" from the menu options.
Enter the code exactly as shown (codes are case-sensitive).
Press confirm. Rewards are delivered to your in-game mailbox.
Open your mailbox to collect the items.
Active Codes
There are currently no active redeem codes for Starsand Island. This section will be updated as soon as codes are officially released by the developer. Compensation items such as the Shining Star Outfit Set are distributed automatically and do not require a code.

When codes are released, they will likely be distributed through the following official channels:

Steam news announcements (once the Steam store page relists)
Rednote (Xiaohongshu) posts from the development team
Milestone events (player count achievements, seasonal events, major updates)

Tips
Codes in similar life-sim titles typically have expiration dates. Redeem them as soon as possible when released.
Each code can usually only be redeemed once per account.
If a code does not work, double-check for typos, extra spaces, and capitalization.
