Rollerblades

Overview

The Verdant Breeze Rollerblades are a land vehicle in Starsand Island crafted as part of the Junior Crafter certification quest from Zerine. They are one of the earliest personal vehicles the player obtains (after the Skateboard) and provide a noticeable speed boost for moving around the island on foot. The rollerblades are permanently kept after completing the quest and can be equipped from the vehicle menu at any time.

Completing the Junior Crafter quest is a high-priority early-game goal because it also unlocks Worktable II, which opens up many mid-game crafting recipes. The quest introduces several important systems at once: the Ore Analyzer, ore chunk processing, and the G-Power Bike vehicle shop.

The Junior Crafter Quest

The Verdant Breeze Rollerblades are the final objective of Zerine's "Become a Junior Crafter" quest. This quest follows the Apprentice Crafter Trial and introduces several new systems. The full walkthrough:

1. Craft 2 Copper Sheets at the Cutter. Each Copper Sheet requires 1 Copper Ingot and 1 Copper.

2. Build the Ore Analyzer at the Worktable using 2 Copper Sheets and 8 Hardwood. Place it on your property.

3. Mine 5 Common Ore Chunks in the Moonlit Forest. These drop randomly from Copper, Tin, and Fluorite veins. You may need to mine more than 5 veins because the drop is not guaranteed.

4. Analyze the chunks at the Ore Analyzer to obtain 5 Ancient Gear Parts. The analyzer processes one chunk at a time, and each chunk yields one Ancient Gear Part.

5. Craft Bronze and Radiant Cores at the Furnace. You need 2 Bronze (each: 1 Charcoal + 1 Tin Ingot + 1 Copper Ingot) and 3 Radiant Cores (each: 1 Charcoal + 4 Fluorite).

6. Craft the Verdant Breeze Rollerblades at the Worktable using 2 Bronze, 3 Radiant Cores, and 5 Ancient Gear Parts.

7. Deliver the finished rollerblades to Zerine at the General Store to complete the quest.

Meeting Neona

During the Crafter quest chain, the player visits Neona at G-Power Bike for the first time. Neona provides a free Scooter Rental Pass, which gives 48-hour free electric scooter rentals from any scooter station in town. This encounter also introduces the vehicle purchasing and blueprint system, opening up Neona's full shop inventory for future vehicle purchases including the Reindeer blueprint and other transportation options.

Tips

• Gathering 5 Ancient Gear Parts requires luck with the Ore Analyzer. Mine extra Common Ore Chunks to ensure you have enough. The chunks are a random drop, so bring a good pickaxe.

• After completing the quest, the rollerblades remain in your vehicle inventory permanently. Switch between them and the Skateboard depending on the situation.

• The Ore Analyzer is not just for this quest. Keep it placed on your property because it is useful for future crafting recipes that require Ancient Gear Parts or other analyzed materials.

• Prioritize completing the Junior Crafter quest early. Besides the rollerblades, the Worktable II unlock is essential for mid-game progression.

• When mining in the Moonlit Forest for ore chunks, bring extra tools. The forest has Copper, Tin, Fluorite, and Iron veins, so you can stock up on smelting materials at the same time.
