Solara

Overview

Solara is the mayor's granddaughter and his official assistant at the Community Center in Starsand Town. She is also the player's childhood best friend and one of the first characters you meet when you arrive on Starsand Island. She greets you at the dock and walks you through the opening tutorial, teaching you how to chop trees, clear your yard, and decorate your home. She hands you your first Axe blueprint and introduces you to the island's key locations.

Solara is one of 15 romanceable characters and one of two childhood romance options alongside Delphin. Her bubbly personality and central role in the story make her a popular first romance pick. See the relationship system article for how Affection Points and heart levels work.

Personality

Solara is cheerful, warm-hearted, and endlessly energetic. Players and fans have described her as a walking ray of sunshine. She is always upbeat and genuinely excited to see the player. She cares deeply about Starsand Island and takes her role as the mayor's assistant seriously, though she tends to worry about getting things perfect. She has an obvious, unresolved crush on the player character that most of the townspeople can see.

Where to find Solara

During the day, Solara is almost always at the Community Center in Starsand Town, where she handles profession certifications and town business. In the evenings, she can sometimes be found by the beach or in the town plaza. Her house is on the street above the Community Center.

How to track Solara

Once you have interacted with Solara, her contact appears in your phone's Social app.

• Locate: Shows her current position on the map and draws a route to get there.

• Follow: Tracks her movements in real time. Her location appears as a flag that moves with her.

Quests and role

Solara provides the opening tutorial quests that teach you the basics of resource gathering, crafting, and home decoration. She also serves as a Profession Certifier at the Community Center, whenever you are ready to advance to the next tier in any profession, speak with her to get certified. After completing profession quests with your mentor, return to Solara for the official certification and a recruitment bonus.

Solara is involved in the Finny Roommates quest, which unlocks aquariums. During this quest, you catch 10 fish and bring them to Solara at the Community Center. The quest also requires crafting a Softwood Plank and cooking Soup Dumplings for Yang. Completing it rewards your first Aquarium.

She also coordinates the Beach Festival (Summer 25–27). During the two preparation days, the player delivers materials to Solara and other NPCs (Delphin, Aurelis, Lunelle, and Momo), earning 200 coins, 15 Starsand, 50 Beach Coins, and 20 Affection per NPC helped. On the festival day, she manages the stage setup.

She occasionally posts requests on the Bulletin Board. Completing these grants between 15 and 25 Affection Points with her.

Romance

Solara is one of the two childhood romance options. She is well suited for players who enjoy a slow-burn, friends-to-lovers dynamic. Since she is the first character you meet, building Affection with her from day one is natural and easy. See the relationship system article for details on heart levels.

At Heart Level 3, you can enter her bedroom, which contains a treasure chest with exclusive decor. At Heart Level 5, you can ask her to move in with you. She will then help around the farm at Hopeland clearing debris, tending animals, and watering plants.
