Overview
Loren runs the Chrono Arcade northeast of central Starsand Town, near the Community Center. He is a relatively recent arrival to Starsand Island, having moved there about two years before the game begins. He relocated specifically to find clean air for his sick younger sister, Momo, investing his savings from a previous career to establish the arcade. Momo appears happier since his business has boomed on the island.

Loren is one of 15 romanceable characters. His laid-back, low-pressure personality makes him a good match for players who want an independent partner and a fun-focused relationship. See the relationship system article for how Affection Points and heart levels work.
Personality
Loren is cheerful and laid-back, prioritizing fun over profit. He does not care much about whether the arcade is turning a profit. What matters to him is that everyone is having a good time. He can seem polite but distant at first because of his long list of responsibilities (running the arcade, caring for Momo, developing his own indie video game project), so you might not be high on his priority list initially. Once you build a relationship with him, though, he turns out to be a supportive and easygoing partner. Outside of managing the arcade, he spends time fixing up machines with Zerine and working on his indie game.
Where to find Loren
Loren is usually at the Chrono Arcade counter during shop hours (08:00–22:00). If he is not at the counter, check around the arcade machines. He is often tinkering with them. His bedroom is located above the Chrono Arcade, but you need at least 3 hearts before you can enter.
How to track Loren
Once you have interacted with Loren, his contact appears in your phone's Social app.
Locate: Shows his current position on the map and draws a route to get there.
Follow: Tracks his movements in real time. His location appears as a flag that moves with him.

Romance
Loren's romance is low-pressure and fun-focused. He is initially distant because of his responsibilities caring for Momo and running the arcade, but he opens up once you invest time in the relationship. His unique interactions include binge-watching TV together.
At Heart Level 3, you can enter his bedroom above the Chrono Arcade, which contains a treasure chest with exclusive decor. At Heart Level 5, you can ask him to move in with you. He will then help around the farm at Hopeland clearing debris, tending animals, and watering plants.
