Sylvain

Overview

Sylvain runs Silvan Notes, the music shop on the south side of Starsand Town near Lex Woodworks. He followed his cousin Stella to Starsand Island and set up his own store specializing in musical instruments and records. Their musical talent runs in the family, Stella was an idol for two years before moving to the island for a quieter life.

Personality

Sylvain is quiet, gentle, and deeply devoted to music. He composes his own tracks, practices violin regularly, and has a habit of speaking in non-sequiturs that can catch people off guard. Despite a slightly offbeat vibe, he is friendly and helpful. When he is not running the shop, he spends time with his cousin Stella or his close friend Serena. During the Beach Festival, he performs live music at the bonfire party alongside Stella.

Where to find Sylvain

Sylvain is usually inside Silvan Notes during shop hours (08:00–22:00). The shop is on the south side of Starsand Town. His bedroom is upstairs above the shop (stairs to the left of the building), but you need at least 3 hearts before you can enter.

How to track Sylvain

Once you have interacted with Sylvain, his contact appears in your phone's Social app.

• Locate: Shows his current position on the map and draws a route to get there.

• Follow: Tracks his movements in real time. His location appears as a flag that moves with him.

Silvan Notes

Silvan Notes sells musical instruments and music records. Records provide ambient farm music when played on a Record Player. The shop also carries the Record Player Blueprint (540 coins, unlocked by default).

At Heart Level 3, you can enter his bedroom above Silvan Notes, which contains a treasure chest with exclusive decor. At Heart Level 5, you can ask him to move in with you. He will then help around the farm at Hopeland clearing debris, tending animals, and watering plants.
