Overview
Sparkling Skylands is the fourth and final region in Pokemon Pokopia. It consists of several floating islands that used to be Celadon City and Saffron City, suspended high in the sky. This area introduces the Glide move for traversing between islands, Lift Platforms for vertical travel, and advanced crafting with Concrete and Glass. The central objective is rebuilding the Celadon Department Store (the "Huge Building") across three floors, requiring massive amounts of materials and Pokemon helpers. Completing this region and all Team Initiation Challenges triggers the ending credits.
How to Unlock
Sparkling Skylands becomes accessible after completing the main requests in both Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges, plus befriending Raikou and Volcanion to reach Hyper Trainer Rank. Enter through the north gate in Bleak Beach.
Story Progression
Phase 1: Arrival and PC Restoration
Enter the gate from Bleak Beach and speak with Professor Tangrowth. Board the platform machine to reach the first island.
Befriend Rookidee near the lift.
Wait for Tangrowth to move beside the Pokemon Center. Examine the PC to advance the story.
Raise the Environment Level to 3 by examining shiny spots, building habitats, and completing initial requests.
Phase 2: Learn Glide from Dragonite
Create a Tree-Shaded Pink Tall Grass habitat to befriend Sprigatito.
Build a Hydrated Pink Tall Grass habitat to befriend Froakie. Froakie reveals the location for Dragonite's habitat.
Construct a Waterside Dinghy habitat (1 Canoe + 2 Duckweeds) at a location with high water.
Talk to Dragonite to learn the Glide move. Practice gliding to reach the next island. Glide costs PP to use, so monitor your supply.
Phase 3: Concrete, Lift Platforms, and Tinkmaster
Climb the tower on the new island. Tinkmaster (Tinkaton) requests six concrete bricks.
Gather Limestones from designated areas. Build a Construction-Site Generator habitat (1 Iron Pipe + 2 Iron Scaffolds) to befriend Conkeldurr.
Receive the Concrete Mixer recipe from Conkeldurr. Build the Concrete Mixer near water using 2 Iron Ingots. Produce at least 6 Concrete pieces with Conkeldurr's help.
Deliver the concrete to Tinkmaster. Receive Tinkagears after providing 1 Iron Ingot.
Craft a Lift Platform (5 Iron Ingots + 5 Concrete + 1 Tinkagear). Position it to connect with existing lifts on the opposite side.
Escort Tinkmaster to Tangrowth via the platforms. Build a second Lift Platform on the eastern hill to reach the Huge Building.
Phase 4: Rebuild the Huge Building (Important Request)
The "Rebuild the Huge Building!" request is the main objective of Sparkling Skylands. You must restore three floors of the destroyed Celadon Department Store. Each floor requires progressively more materials and Pokemon helpers.
Second Floor
Material | Quantity |
|---|---|
Concrete | 25 |
Glass | 10 |
5 | |
Iron Ingots | 10 |
Requires 6 Pokemon helpers. Glass is crafted from Volcanic Ash, Sand, or Sandstone at a Furnace with a Burn-specialty Pokemon like Vulpix. Pokemetal is found on the floating island east of the building.
Third Floor
Material | Quantity |
|---|---|
Concrete | 25 |
Glass | 10 |
Shiny Stones | 10 |
Copper Ingots | 10 |
Shiny Stones are located in a special Glowing Stone Cave (break surrounding blocks with Rock Smash). Copper Ore can be found in Rocky Ridges caves and smelted into ingots. Recruit Chef Dente from Rocky Ridges to assist.
Fourth Floor
Material | Quantity |
|---|---|
Concrete | 40 |
Glass | 15 |
Paper | 10 |
Bricks | 10 |
Lumber | 20 |
Requires 15 Pokemon helpers. Paper is produced by building the Professor's Apprentice Program habitat (1 Whiteboard + 1 Jumbled Cords + 1 Table + 1 Laptop). Metang converts Wastepaper into Paper using this habitat. Recruit Peakychu from Bleak Beach to help with construction.
Completion
After finishing the fourth floor, take the elevator to the rooftop and examine the Master Ball. This raises your Trainer Rank to Master. Return to Tangrowth to complete the request.

Endgame and Credits
Completing the Sparkling Skylands storyline is the final step before the game's ending. The requirements for reaching the credits:
Finish all Important Requests in all four regions (Withered Wasteland, Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges, and Sparkling Skylands).
Rebuild all four Pokemon Centers.
Raise the Environment Level to 5 in each area.
Complete all Team Initiation Challenges (unlocked at Environment Level 5 in each area).
After meeting all conditions, the ending credits sequence plays. The game continues in a free-play postgame mode where you can keep building, filling the Pokedex, and exploring Dream Islands.
Tips for 100% Completion
Start producing Concrete immediately after unlocking the Concrete Mixer. You need a total of 90 Concrete across all three floors of the Huge Building, plus 25 more for the Pokemon Center.
Bring materials from other regions. You will need Copper Ore from Rocky Ridges, and Bricks can be made from Squishy Clay found in Bleak Beach. Plan supply runs between areas.
Glide costs PP. Keep an eye on your PP gauge and refill at Pokemon Centers or PP-restoring items before attempting long glides between distant islands.
Build the Professor's Apprentice Program habitat early to begin converting Wastepaper into Paper. The fourth floor alone requires 10 Paper.
Recruit helper Pokemon from previous regions. The fourth floor needs 15 Pokemon helpers, so you may need to bring favorites from Withered Wasteland, Bleak Beach, and Rocky Ridges.
Use Lift Platforms strategically. Place them to create permanent vertical routes between island levels so you do not need to Glide everywhere.
After examining the Master Ball on the rooftop, you reach Master Trainer Rank. This is required to trigger the endgame sequence.
Explore every floating island. Some contain Ancient Artifacts, Human Records, and rare materials that are easy to miss.
The Pokemon Center in this region is the most expensive to rebuild (25 Pokemetal, 25 Concrete, 25 Glass, 25 Gold Ingots). Start gathering Gold Ingots from ore deposits on distant floating islands early.
