Overview
Requests are side tasks given by befriended Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia. They function as optional side quests separate from the main story quests. Completing requests directly raises the requesting Pokemon's comfort level, which in turn contributes to the region's Environment Level. Requests are one of the five main methods for raising comfort levels.
How Requests Work
After befriending a Pokemon, approach it and interact. Some Pokemon will have a speech bubble or exclamation mark indicating they have a request. Select the option to hear their request, and the task will be added to your quest log.
Requests typically involve fetching items, building or placing specific furniture near the Pokemon's habitat, gathering particular resources, or completing a small task in the environment. The difficulty and complexity of requests varies based on the Pokemon and the region.
Types of Requests
Request Type | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
Fetch Item | Bring a specific item to the Pokemon | Deliver a specific berry or crafted item |
Build Something | Place a piece of furniture or decoration nearby | Build and place a bed or table near the habitat |
Gather Materials | Collect raw materials from the environment | Gather stones, logs, or flowers |
Play a Game | Participate in a mini-game with the Pokemon | Jump Rope with Bulbasaur |
Environmental Task | Modify the area around the Pokemon | Water nearby plants, clear debris, or place lighting |
Rewards
Completing a request provides several benefits:
Comfort level increase: The requesting Pokemon's comfort level rises directly. This is one of the most reliable ways to push a Pokemon from Average to Nice or higher tiers.
Life Coins: Some requests award Life Coins upon completion.
Recipe unlocks: Certain requests reward new crafting recipes that cannot be obtained any other way.
Story progression: In some cases, completing a set of requests from multiple Pokemon triggers new story content or unlocks access to hidden areas.
Tips
Check on your befriended Pokemon regularly. New requests appear over time as comfort levels change and the story progresses.
Requests from Pokemon with low comfort levels tend to be simpler, while high-comfort Pokemon may ask for rarer items or more complex tasks.
Completing multiple requests in the same region stacks comfort gains, which can push your Environment Level past critical thresholds faster.
Some requests chain together. Completing one Pokemon's request may unlock a follow-up request from a neighboring Pokemon.
Playing games with Pokemon (like Jump Rope) counts as completing a request and is repeatable for small comfort gains each time.
