Overview
In Pokemon Pokopia, Pokemon Centers are not pre-built. Each one must be restored by the player as part of rebuilding the island. There are five Pokemon Centers in total, one in each major region. Rebuilding the four main-story centers (Withered Wasteland, Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges, and Sparkling Skylands) is required to reach the end credits. The fifth center in Palette Town is optional.
Prerequisites
Every Pokemon Center rebuild shares the same base requirements, plus a region-specific quest that must be completed first.

For the very first Pokemon Center (Withered Wasteland), there are additional early-game prerequisites: build your first Leaf Den, decorate its interior with furniture, place the Ditto Flag on the completed Leaf Den, and speak with Professor Tangrowth to unlock the rebuild request.
Materials by Region
Each region requires different construction materials. Later regions demand more advanced materials that involve smelting and crafting.

How to Obtain Key Materials
Many construction materials require Pokemon with specific specialties to produce. The following table covers the most commonly needed materials and how to get them.

Required Pokemon Specialties
Each Pokemon Center rebuild requires 8 Pokemon assigned to the construction site. Three of the eight must have specific specialties for that region; the remaining five can be any Pokemon. An important rule: a Pokemon that has multiple specialties (such as Hariyama, which has both Build and Bulldoze) cannot fill two roles simultaneously. You need a separate Pokemon for each required specialty slot.

Step-by-Step Rebuilding Process
Reach Environment Level 3 in the region by raising Pokemon comfort, building habitats, and completing quests.
Complete the region's prerequisite quest (see the Region-Specific Prerequisites section above).
Purchase the Pokemon Center Rebuilding Kit for 1,000 Life Coins from the PC Shop. The kit auto-places over the Pokemon Center rubble in that region.
Gather all required construction materials for the region (see the Materials by Region table above).
Recruit at least 8 Pokemon in the area, including the three required specialty Pokemon.
Lead the Pokemon to the construction site and interact with the build marker (yellow box or colored icon).
Deposit the materials and assign all 8 Pokemon to the project.
Select "Start Rebuilding!" to begin construction. The Pokemon Center will be complete by the next in-game day at 5 AM.
You can speed up the wait by advancing the Nintendo Switch 2 system clock forward one day. There is no in-game penalty for doing this.
Services Unlocked
Every rebuilt Pokemon Center provides the same four core services: the Healing Machine (restores Ditto's PP once per in-game day), the 3D Printer (duplicates furniture for 4 Pokemetal bars each), the Trade Shop (barter-based material exchange with rotating inventory), and the PC Terminal (Challenges, Shop, Link Play, Mystery Gift, Stamp Rally). Story Progression
Rebuilding the four main-story Pokemon Centers is required to roll credits. Each rebuild raises the area's Environment Level and contributes to overall progression toward Environment Level 5 in each region. Reaching Environment Level 5 unlocks the Team Initiation Challenges, and completing all of them across all regions triggers the end credits.
The Palette Town Pokemon Center is optional and does not affect story completion. Rebuilding it simply adds convenience for that area.
Tips
Prioritize the Withered Wasteland Pokemon Center first. The Healing Machine and PC Terminal are essential early-game services.
The 1,000 Life Coin cost is steep early on. Focus on completing Daily Challenges and the Stamp Rally to earn coins faster.
Start gathering materials before you hit Environment Level 3. Lumber, Stone, and Leaf can be stockpiled early.
Pokemon with dual specialties like Hariyama (Build and Bulldoze) cannot fill both roles at once. Always recruit separate Pokemon for each required specialty.
For the Withered Wasteland center, remember the early prerequisites: build a Leaf Den, decorate it, place the Ditto Flag, and talk to Professor Tangrowth.
Later regions require smelted materials. Set up a smelting furnace in Rocky Ridges early and keep a Burn-specialty Pokemon (Torchic, Growlithe) nearby.
Sparkling Skylands materials are the most demanding. Start crafting Concrete and smelting Pokemetal, Glass, and Gold Ingots well before reaching that area.
Having a Pokemon Center in every region means a nearby Healing Machine and 3D Printer wherever you are working. Rebuilding all five is worth the investment.
