Overview
Mewtwo is a Legendary Pokemon encountered at the rooftop of the rebuilt skyscraper (the former Celadon Department Store) in Sparkling Skylands. The encounter with Mewtwo marks the climax of the Sparkling Skylands storyline and grants the player Master Trainer Rank.
How to Encounter
Mewtwo appears after completing the Rebuild the Huge Building Important Request in Sparkling Skylands. This quest involves reconstructing the massive skyscraper floor by floor under the guidance of Tinkmaster. Players must complete all three floors and reach the rooftop to trigger the encounter.
Prerequisites for reaching the encounter:
Reach Hyper Trainer Rank (complete Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges)
Unlock Sparkling Skylands
Meet Tinkmaster and deliver her initial materials (6 Concrete, 1 Iron Ingot)
Complete all three floors of the skyscraper reconstruction
Re-encounters
After the initial story encounter, Mewtwo can be re-encountered on Ditto Dream Islands. Dream Island encounters are random, so multiple visits may be needed.
