Overview
Bulbasaur is a Grass/Poison-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Seed Pokemon (Dex #001). As one of the three Kanto starters available early in the game, Bulbasaur is found in the Withered Wasteland and teaches Ditto the Leafage transformation. Its Grow specialty makes it one of the most valuable Pokemon for farming and landscaping.
Habitat
Bulbasaur can appear in two different habitats:

The Tall Grass habitat is the simpler option. Water four dry grass patches next to each other using Water Gun to create the habitat. Wait for the grass to start rustling, then interact with the rustling spot to encounter Bulbasaur.
Location
Bulbasaur is found in Withered Wasteland, the game's starting area. Along with Squirtle and Charmander, Bulbasaur is one of the three Kanto starters that can be befriended very early in the adventure.
How to Befriend
After Bulbasaur appears at the Tall Grass habitat, speak to it. Bulbasaur will give you a request called Water Dry Grass: use Water Gun to revive 10 patches of dry tall grass scattered around Withered Wasteland. Walk around the area and spray the yellow, parched grass patches. After watering all 10, return to Bulbasaur to learn the Leafage move.
Bulbasaur has a second request called A Bed for a Buddy, which asks you to craft a straw bed from leaves. Completing this request rewards the Straw Bed recipe.
Move Taught: Leafage
Bulbasaur teaches Ditto the Leafage transformation. Leafage creates patches of tall grass, which are the foundation for multiple habitats in the game. It is one of the most frequently used moves because tall grass is a component of many habitat recipes.
Leafage can be powered up by eating a Salad. After consuming a salad, Leafage gains expanded capabilities: it can grow more tiles of tall grass per use and also produce moss and duckweed on appropriate surfaces. This upgrade is required for building habitats like the Mossy Boulder and Waterside Dinghy.
Specialty: Grow
Bulbasaur has the Grow specialty. Pokemon with this specialty make plants, flowers, trees, and crops grow faster. Simply lead Bulbasaur near your crop fields or trees, and it will automatically accelerate their growth. The Grow specialty is essential for efficient farming and is also useful for growing small trees into large trees to meet habitat requirements.
