Overview
"Mossy Boulder Habitat" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia given by Machoke in Rocky Ridges. Machoke asks you to create a Mossy Boulder habitat inside the hot springs cave by placing Moss around the mossy boulder. This habitat attracts Graveler, and speaking to Graveler unlocks the Rollout move. Rollout is needed to break through volcanic ash blocks and progress further in Rocky Ridges.

Walkthrough
Step 1: Reach the Hot Springs Cave
Travel to the hot springs cave in Rocky Ridges. This is the same cave where you created the Mossy Hot Spring habitat for Torkoal. Inside, you will find a large mossy boulder on the cave floor.
Step 2: Eat a Salad
Before you can create Moss, you need the Powered-Up Leafage move. If you have already completed the Make a Salad request, eat a Simple Salad to activate the powered-up version. Regular Leafage cannot produce Moss from the mossy boulder.
Step 3: Place Moss Around the Boulder
Use Powered-Up Leafage near the mossy boulder to spawn four patches of Moss. Arrange them around the boulder until the game notifies you that the Mossy Boulder habitat has been created.
Step 4: Befriend Graveler
After the habitat is complete, Graveler will appear. Speak to Graveler to befriend it and learn the Rollout move.
Rewards
Graveler is befriended and joins your community
Rollout move: Allows you to break through volcanic ash blocks and clear larger obstacles
Unlocks access to the deeper mine area where you find DJ Rotom
Enables the Investigate the Source of Music request
Tips
You must eat a Salad before using Leafage to create Moss. Regular Leafage will not produce the correct material.
The mossy boulder is already in the cave; you do not need to move or craft one.
Once you have Rollout, you can clear the volcanic ash blocks near the Pokemon Center and explore the deeper tunnels where DJ Rotom is hiding.
Golem is a rare spawn at this habitat. Check back periodically if you want to befriend one.
