Overview
The Freelance Delivery Career is a new freelance job introduced in the March 2026 update. Unlike traditional careers that require formal employment through the Career App, the Freelance Delivery Career lets Zois pick up delivery orders from clients and fulfill them across the city on their own schedule.
This career falls under the broader freelance career system in inZOI. Freelance work does not appear in the formal Career App, instead operating as an independent income source. Zois can do delivery work alongside a regular career or as their sole source of income.
How It Works
Clients place delivery orders that Zois can accept and fulfill. The core gameplay loop involves:
Receiving a delivery order from a client (via the Smartphone).
Picking up the package or item from the specified location.
Traveling to the delivery destination using available transportation (walking, bicycles, vehicles, or public transit).
Delivering the order to the client within the expected timeframe.
Receiving Meow payment upon successful delivery.
Income and Payment
Delivery pay varies based on the distance traveled, the urgency of the order, and the Zoi's delivery track record. Consistent on-time deliveries build a higher client rating, which leads to better-paying orders over time. This income system works independently of the formal career salary structure.
Requirements
There are no formal skill requirements to start doing freelance deliveries. Any Zoi can pick up delivery work. However, several factors make deliveries more efficient:
Owning a vehicle or bicycle speeds up travel between pickup and drop-off locations.
Familiarity with the city layout helps plan efficient routes. The new minimap feature (also added in the March 2026 update) assists with navigation.
Higher Fitness levels let Zois move faster on foot for shorter deliveries.
Comparison to Other Freelance Work
The Freelance Delivery Career differs from other freelance income paths in that it does not require any creative skills or crafting:
