Gangster Career

Overview

The Gangster career is one of the two criminal careers in inZOI, available exclusively in Bliss Bay through the Westside Hustler organization. It is a Rabbit Hole career, meaning the Zoi boards a taxi and works off-screen rather than at a visible workplace. The Gangster career ties with the Street Soldier career for the highest salary in the game, with the Boss rank earning 2,169 Meow per day. There are 6 positions available in the organization.

Career Ranks

All three ranks share the same 3-day work schedule with 9-hour shifts (9 AM to 6 PM). The salary jump from Underboss to Boss is substantial: over triple the Underboss pay.

The career is found through the Smartphone Career app by filtering for Bliss Bay positions.

Work Tasks

During work shifts, the Zoi receives assigned tasks that contribute to the promotion meter. Tasks are organized into halves during each shift with time constraints. Completing tasks early allows the Zoi to leave work early without penalties. Known tasks include:

• Shake Down Debtor: Confront someone who owes money to the organization.

• Collect Interest: Gather payments from debtors.

• Disappear: Lay low or evade attention.

• Get in Turf War: Engage in territorial disputes with rivals.

Failing to complete tasks during a shift reduces job experience. Missing 3 or more consecutive workdays results in termination.

Promotion

Promotions are earned by completing work tasks consistently. As a Rabbit Hole career, promotions take longer than Active careers. Expect approximately 8 to 10 working days (about 3 in-game weeks) per promotion. Never miss work days and avoid shortening your schedule for the fastest advancement.

Gangster vs. Street Soldier

The Gangster and Street Soldier careers are parallel criminal paths in different cities with identical salary structures:

Both careers are mechanically identical aside from location and rank titles. Choose based on which city your Zoi lives in.

Crime Score and Karma

Working in the Gangster career affects several gameplay systems:

• Criminal career activities increase Crime Score, which can lead to police attention and arrest.

• Criminal careers lower Karma, pushing it toward Terrible. Zois who die with Terrible Karma become ghosts.

• If the Zoi is arrested, they spend time in jail, interrupting work and daily routines. Missing 3+ days from arrest can result in termination.

• A trial may follow arrest, with outcomes ranging from fines to extended sentences.

Gangster Career vs. Crime Skill

The Gangster career is a formal, salaried position and is separate from the Crime skill system introduced in v0.5.0. The Crime skill uses the Suspicious Job Agency to unlock freelance criminal activities (Thief and Scammer paths). These are two distinct systems:

A Zoi can work as a Gangster and also pursue Thief or Scammer activities on their off days, though this will compound Crime Score accumulation.

Tips

• The Gangster career is Bliss Bay exclusive. You must live in Bliss Bay or relocate there to access it.

• The 3-day work week leaves 4 days free for other activities, skill leveling, or freelance income.

• Watch your Crime Score. High levels mean police will arrest your Zoi on sight.

• If you want the same salary in Dowon, take the Street Soldier career instead.

• The Boss rank at 2,169 Meow per day is the highest career salary in the game, but criminal consequences are real.
