Overview
Posey's Surf Shop is a beachside retail store in Bliss Bay that sells surf gear and beachwear. It offers an active career path with two ranks: Cashier and Manager. As an active career, players accompany their Zoi to the store during each shift and complete tasks directly, rather than sending the Zoi off to a rabbit hole. The shop operates on a three-day work week with shifts running from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Posey's Surf Shop is exclusive to Bliss Bay. Players living in Dowon cannot access this career. The equivalent retail option in Dowon is the AZ Convenience Store.

Shift Tasks
During each shift, a task list appears in the top-left corner of the screen. Tasks are divided into morning and afternoon blocks, each with a time limit. Completing all tasks within the allotted time fills the promotion gauge. Failing to finish tasks before their timers expire slows promotion progress.

Promotion Mechanics
The promotion gauge fills as you complete shift tasks. With consistent task completion, promotion from Cashier to Manager is possible in approximately 3 to 4 working days (about one in-game week). If the promotion gauge is full but no promotion occurs, it means there is no vacancy for the Manager position yet. Shortening your work schedule may slow promotion progress, while extending it does not accelerate it beyond normal pace.
Three unexcused absences from work result in termination. Always make sure your Zoi shows up on scheduled work days.
Restocking
The Restock Items task only triggers when customers have emptied shelves. If no shelves are empty, the task cannot be completed that shift. This is the only task that may be impossible to finish on a given day, so do not worry if it stays incomplete. Focus on completing all other tasks instead.
