The Flower Shop Business is a player-owned commercial venture introduced in the March 2026 Update (v0.7.0). Unlike the Florist Career, where your Zoi works as an employee earning a set wage, owning a flower shop puts you in charge of the entire operation. You choose what to sell, set the prices, hire staff, and manage customer satisfaction on your own terms. It is one of several business types available in the game, and it pairs naturally with the Gardening skill to keep ingredient costs low.
How to Acquire a Flower Shop
Before you can run a flower shop, you need a property designated as a business lot. Open the Edit City window and look for lots labeled Business Property in their description. The Flower Shop in Petalocity, located in the center of Bliss Bay, is one ready-made option that can be purchased and converted directly into your own business.
Once you own the lot, register it through the Business App on your Zoi's smartphone. During registration you select a business preset. Choose the florist preset to auto-configure your shop for flower sales, though you can tweak every setting afterward.
Growing Flowers
The v0.7.0 update added six new farmable flower varieties to the game. These join existing growable plants like Hydrangeas, Cosmos, and Rose Bushes that were already available through the Build Mode outdoor furniture section. To start growing, purchase seedling pots from the Growing Plant category in Build Mode, place them on your lot, and water them daily until they mature.

A higher Gardening skill unlocks a wider selection of plants and improves your results. At high Gardening levels, flowers can gain special effects that go beyond simple decoration. These enhanced flowers are more valuable to customers and can influence gameplay in ways that ordinary blooms cannot. Investing time into leveling your Gardening skill before opening the shop is well worth the effort.
Crafting Bouquets and Flower Baskets
Harvested flowers serve as raw ingredients for two craftable product types:
Bouquets are arrangements of cut flowers bundled together. They can be sold to customers at the shop or gifted to other Zois to boost your relationship.
Flower Baskets are larger, decorative arrangements displayed in the shop. Customers browse and purchase them directly from the flower basket display at the counter.
Crafting uses flowers from your inventory. Growing your own flowers through the Gardening skill significantly reduces ingredient costs compared to sourcing them elsewhere, which means higher profit margins on every sale.
Managing Your Shop
Flower shop management follows the same framework as every other business in InZOI. The Business App provides several tabs to control daily operations.
Business Hours
Set your operating days and hours under the Business Hours tab. Your shop only serves customers during these windows, so choose times that fit your Zoi's schedule. Keeping consistent hours helps build a regular customer base.
Recipe Tab
The Recipe tab controls which products are available for sale. Configure your menu of bouquets and flower baskets here. Experiment with different combinations to find out what your customers prefer, and rotate offerings periodically to keep things fresh.
Player Settings
Under Player Settings you can configure customer activities and define your target audience. Adjusting these settings influences which Zois visit your shop and what they expect when they arrive.
The Kiosk
Every business needs at least one kiosk, the point-of-sale terminal where customers pay. Place it near the entrance or counter area so customers can check out smoothly. Without a kiosk, no transactions happen.
Hiring and Managing Employees
When you first open, you can run everything solo. As the shop grows, hiring help becomes essential. Open the Business App to browse potential employees. Candidates must be at least Young Adult age and must already be acquaintances or members of your household.

Assign employees to tasks that match their strengths. A Zoi with strong Rhetoric skill works well in customer-facing service roles, while someone with high Gardening skill can tend the flowers and prepare arrangements behind the scenes. As your business level increases, you unlock the ability to hire additional staff.
Employee salaries are calculated based on your business level, their salary rank, and working hours. Pay is distributed after each business day. Keep in mind that long working hours can strain your relationship with employees, so balance productivity with their well-being.
Customer Satisfaction and Growth
Customer satisfaction drives everything. Happy customers leave positive reviews, raise your star rating, and bring in more foot traffic over time. Several factors affect satisfaction:
Pricing: Set prices too high and customers leave unhappy. Set them too low and you cut into your margins for no reason.
Product quality: Flowers grown at higher Gardening levels, especially those with special effects, command more value and impress customers.
Furniture and layout: The physical layout of your shop matters. Quality furniture, good spacing, and appealing decor all boost satisfaction.
Employee responsiveness: Fast, attentive service from well-assigned staff keeps customers happy. Understaffing leads to slow service and complaints.
Customer thought bubbles appear in real time while they browse, giving you immediate feedback. At the end of each business day, detailed reviews summarize how things went. Use this information to adjust pricing, swap out slow-selling products, or rearrange furniture.
Tip Jar
Place a tip jar on your business property to earn extra income tied directly to customer satisfaction levels. When customers are pleased with their experience, they leave tips on top of the base sale price. It is a passive revenue stream that rewards good management.
Tips for Profitability
Level Gardening first. Growing your own flowers eliminates ingredient costs, which is the single biggest factor in turning a profit.
Use special-effect flowers. High-level Gardening can produce flowers with special effects. These enhanced products sell for more and impress customers.
Stay present during business hours. Active management significantly boosts daily revenue compared to leaving the shop on autopilot. Interact with customers, restock shelves, and handle issues as they arise.
Check reviews every night. End-of-day customer reviews highlight exactly what went well and what did not. Adjust pricing, staffing, or product selection based on this feedback.
Match employees to roles. A Zoi with high Rhetoric skill at the counter and a skilled gardener tending plants behind the scenes makes a big difference.
Do not neglect your Zoi. A Zoi with low mood or energy performs poorly, which hurts the entire business. Take breaks, eat, and sleep.
Flower Shop Business vs. Florist Career
It is easy to confuse these two paths since both involve flowers. The key difference is ownership versus employment. With the Florist Career, your Zoi clocks in at someone else's shop, completes timed tasks and mini-games, and earns a fixed wage with promotion potential. With the Flower Shop Business, you own the property, set the rules, and keep the profits (or absorb the losses). The business path carries more risk and requires startup capital, but the earning ceiling is much higher for players willing to put in the management effort.
Known Issues
As of v0.7.0, the flower shop has a few reported bugs that players should be aware of:
The Flower Shop may appear labeled as a "Park" on the city map rather than a "Shop." Filtering by shops on the map will not show it. Look for it under the Park filter or search by name instead.
Flower baskets may occasionally disappear during employee interactions or get accidentally deleted in Build Mode. Save frequently to avoid losing inventory.
Update History
v0.5.0 (December 2025): The Flower Shop in Petalocity lot was added to the game world, and the business ownership system was introduced.
v0.7.0 (March 2026): Flower shops became fully acquirable as player-owned businesses. Six new farmable flowers, bouquet and flower basket crafting, special flower effects at high Gardening levels, and the tip jar system were all added.
