The Bliss Bay Amusement Park career is an Active Career exclusive to Bliss Bay. As one of the game's active (on-site) careers, players follow their Zoi to the workplace, see the park interior, and directly control tasks during each shift. The amusement park is one of Bliss Bay's most iconic locations, inspired by the Santa Monica pier, featuring nine rides, food stands, and nighttime fireworks. The career has been available since the Early Access launch on March 28, 2025.
Available Positions
The amusement park offers four positions across three separate job lines. Each job line has its own independent progression (or lack thereof):
Position | Job Line | Salary (Meow/shift) | Employee Slots | Promotion |

Office Worker | Office Employee | 380 | 4 | Promotes to Office Team Lead |
Field Worker | Field Worker | 760 | Not confirmed | None (dead-end) |
Office Team Lead | Office Employee | 1,550 | Not confirmed | None (top of line) |
All positions share the same schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (9-hour shifts, 3 days per week). Eligible age stages are Young Adult, Adult, and Middle-Aged.

The Field Worker operates out in the park itself, inspecting rides, cleaning, and entertaining visitors. This position has the most varied task set:

Inspect ride entrance | Entrance (1 time) | 5 hours |
Lift the Spirits | Money Gun or Dance (5 times) | 5 hours |

Office Team Lead Tasks
The Office Team Lead is the highest-paid position at 1,550 Meow per shift. This role involves management responsibilities including ordering items, creating reports, and managing the park budget. Detailed task breakdowns for the Team Lead position are not fully documented, but the role follows the same morning/afternoon split structure as other positions.
Task Mechanics
Tasks in active careers are not mini-games. They are click-to-interact actions where you direct your Zoi to the relevant object:
A task list appears in the top-left corner of the screen during each shift, showing all required actions
Shifts are split into morning and afternoon halves, each with their own set of tasks and deadlines
Each task has a time deadline (typically 5 hours, except the uniform change which is 1 hour)
Click on the relevant object (computer, floor, entrance, etc.) to start the interaction
For "Lift the Spirits," click anywhere on the ground near visitors and select the action from the popup (Money Gun or Dance)
If all tasks are finished before the shift ends, the Zoi can leave early with no penalty and still receive full credit
Failing to complete tasks within deadlines results in lost job experience, slowing promotion progress
Promotion System
Promotion works differently for each job line:
Job Line | Promotion Path | How to Promote |
|---|---|---|
Cashier | No promotion (dead-end) | N/A |
Field Worker | No promotion (dead-end) | N/A |
Office Employee | Office Worker to Office Team Lead | Fill the career progress bar through task completion |
The Office Employee line is the only path with a promotion. Completing workplace tasks fills a job experience bar. When the bar reaches 100%, the Zoi receives a promotion the following morning before heading to work, provided a vacancy exists at the Team Lead level. Active career promotions can happen in as fast as 3 to 4 working days (approximately one in-game week).
Important: You must actively control your Zoi during work shifts to earn career progress. Sending a Zoi to an active career while controlling a different household member earns salary but gains zero career experience toward promotion.

Known Bugs
Bug | Details |
|---|---|
Careers menu disappearing (fixed) | A bug where the Careers menu would disappear before the end of a shift when working as a Field Worker was fixed in v0.5.0 |
Uniform deadline pressure | The 1-hour uniform change deadline is tight, especially at higher game speeds. This is by design but catches many players off guard |
Zoi abandoning tasks | Zois may autonomously stop assigned tasks to perform their own actions, causing task failures if not supervised |
Locker room confusion | Male and female locker rooms are separate. Entering the wrong one wastes time and can cause the uniform deadline to fail |
Tips
Tip | Details |
|---|---|
Change uniform first | Always make the uniform change your first action. The 1-hour deadline is the tightest constraint in any shift |
Pause when you arrive | Pause the game immediately upon arriving at the park to locate the correct locker room (male vs female) and plan your task routing |
Queue actions | Use action queuing to line up multiple tasks back-to-back, minimizing idle time between interactions |
Never leave your Zoi unsupervised | Zois will autonomously switch to other activities if left alone, causing task failures |
Avoid high game speed during uniform change | The 1-hour deadline can pass very quickly at 2x or 3x speed |
Leave early if done | Completing all tasks before the shift ends allows early departure with no penalty and full credit |
Pick Office Worker for promotion | Cashier and Field Worker are dead-end positions. Only the Office Worker line leads to a promotion (and the highest salary at 1,550 Meow/shift) |
Do not shorten your workday | Shortened workdays negatively impact promotion progress. Keep the default schedule length for optimal career bar gains |
