Entertainment Careers
Complete guide to the three entertainment career tracks in inZOI: Idol at Adam Entertainment, Entertainment Planning, and Journalism at Mirror of the Times and Bliss Bay Times. Covers all positions, daily salaries, schedules, promotion requirements, and work tasks.
Overview
Entertainment careers in inZOI cover three distinct professional tracks: the Idol career at Adam Entertainment, the Entertainment Planning career (an active career), and Journalism. These careers are concentrated in Dowon with one journalism office also located in Bliss Bay. No entertainment careers are currently available in Cahaya. All salaries are paid in Meow, the in-game currency.
Idol Career (Adam Entertainment)
The Idol career is available exclusively at Adam Entertainment in Dowon. This is one of the few careers in inZOI with an age restriction: only Young Adult Zois can apply. The Idol track is an active (non-rabbit-hole) career, meaning players follow their Zoi to work and control their actions throughout the day. The work schedule is 5 days per week, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Idol Positions and Salaries
Position | Daily Salary (Meow) | Available Slots |
|---|---|---|
Rookie | 136 | 3 |
Junior Trainee | 400 | 3 |
Senior Trainee | 600 | 3 |
Promotion from Rookie to Junior Trainee and then to Senior Trainee depends on building the Performance skill and completing daily work tasks consistently. The Performance skill is central to the Idol career and governs singing, dancing, and stage presence.
Daily Work Tasks
Each workday at Adam Entertainment follows a structured routine. The specific tasks differ by rank:
Time Block | Rookie Tasks | Junior/Senior Tasks |
|---|---|---|
Morning | Choose wardrobe, practice dance, vocal training | Choose wardrobe, advanced choreography, vocal recording |
Afternoon | Fitness training, study dance moves, review performance | Fitness training, practice stage presence, study fan engagement |
Rookies spend most of their time on basic training, while promoted idols gain access to more advanced activities. Maintaining the Zoi's fitness is an explicit part of the daily routine, making it one of the few careers that directly requires physical conditioning.
Entertainment Planning Career
The Entertainment Planning track is available in Dowon and does not have an age restriction. Unlike the Idol career, this is an active career, meaning the Zoi goes to the workplace and the player controls them for the duration of their shift. The work schedule is 5 days per week, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Planning Positions and Salaries
Position | Daily Salary (Meow) | Available Slots |
|---|---|---|
Employee | 198 | 4 |
Team Lead | 450 | Not specified |
CEO | 1,296 | 1 |
The jump from Team Lead to CEO represents the largest salary increase among entertainment careers, nearly tripling the daily pay. However, only one CEO slot exists, meaning promotion to the top position requires the current CEO to vacate the role.
Journalism Career
Journalism is the most accessible entertainment career, with offices in two cities: Mirror of the Times in Dowon and Bliss Bay Times in Bliss Bay. Both locations are rabbit hole workplaces. Journalism has a more relaxed schedule than other entertainment careers at 3 days per week, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Journalism Positions and Salaries
Position | Daily Salary (Meow) | Available Slots |
|---|---|---|
Reporter | 405 | 6 |
Editor | 765 | 3 |
Editor-in-Chief | 1,665 | 1 |

Journalism offers the highest top-end salary of any entertainment career. The Editor-in-Chief position pays 1,665 Meow per day, exceeding even the Entertainment Planning CEO. The trade-off is that journalism only provides 3 working days per week, so the weekly income at lower ranks may be less than full-time positions in other tracks.
Career Comparison
Career Track | Location | Schedule | Type | Top Salary (Meow/day) | Age Restriction |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Idol | 5 days/week, 10AM-6PM | Active | 600 | Young Adult only | |
Entertainment Planning | 5 days/week, 9AM-6PM | Active | 1,296 | None | |
Journalism | 3 days/week, 9AM-6PM | Rabbit Hole | 1,665 | None |
Tips for Entertainment Careers
The Idol career is the only entertainment path that requires the Performance skill. Start building it before applying by having your Zoi practice singing or dancing at home.
If your Zoi ages out of the Young Adult life stage while employed as an Idol, they will need to switch careers. Plan accordingly.
Journalism's 3-day schedule leaves plenty of time for side activities, skill building, or maintaining a second income stream.
The CEO position in Entertainment Planning has only one slot. If you want the highest-paying management role, consider journalism's Editor-in-Chief instead, which also has limited slots but pays more per day.
None of these careers are available in Cahaya. If your Zoi lives there, they will need to commute or relocate to Dowon or Bliss Bay.
Future Content
The 2026 development roadmap includes plans for K-pop-themed content expected in Q2 2026, which may expand the Idol career with new activities, venues, and progression options. No specific details have been confirmed beyond the roadmap mention.
