Cheats in inZOI are officially supported console commands that let players manipulate nearly every aspect of the game. From adding currency and freezing needs to triggering natural disasters and editing Zoi appearances, the cheat system provides a powerful sandbox toolkit. Cheats are accessed through Psycat's Guide and the console overlay. Because inZOI is still in Early Access, new cheats are added regularly through updates, and existing commands may occasionally behave unexpectedly.
How to Enable Cheats
Open Psycat's Guide by clicking the Psycat icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Toggle Enable Cheats to the on position. A warning popup will appear; confirm it to proceed.
Press Ctrl + Shift + C to open the cheat console. A text input bar appears at the top of the screen.
Type a command and press Enter to execute it. The console will display a confirmation or error message.
Enabling cheats may cause unintended side effects. Always save your game before experimenting, especially with destructive commands like apocalypseTheWorld. You can disable cheats at any time by returning to Psycat's Guide and toggling the option off, though effects already applied will remain.
Psycat's Guide Shortcuts
Before opening the console, Psycat's Guide itself provides two instant shortcuts that do not require typing any commands:
Shortcut | Description |
|---|---|
Use Money Cheat | click this button to instantly receive 100,000Meow (the standard in-game currency). You can press it as many times as you want, making it the fastest way to add funds. |
Emergency Rescue | click this button, then click on any stuck Zoi in the world to free them from their position. This is useful when a Zoi clips into furniture, walls, or terrain and cannot move on their own. |
Currency Cheats
These commands add various types of currency to your household. For large amounts of Meow, the Use Money Cheat button in Psycat's Guide is faster, but the console commands allow you to specify exact amounts.
Command | Effect |
|---|---|
addMoney [amount] | Adds the specified amount of Meow to your household |
addMeowCoin [amount] | Adds the specified amount of Purr Coins (premium currency) |
addResortCoin [amount] | Adds Resort Coins used for Cahaya Resort arcade games |

Finding Zoi IDs
Many cheats require a Zoi ID as a parameter. To find a Zoi's ID:
Open the cheat console (Ctrl + Shift + C).
Type showZoiInfo true and press Enter.
A five-digit number will appear above each Zoi's head. That is their Zoi ID.
Use this number in commands like getBabyWith, setRelationshipFull, removeZoi, CustomZoi, and setTrait.
You can also find Zoi IDs by checking the relationship panel or hovering over characters in the neighborhood view. Disable the overlay with showZoiInfo false when you no longer need it.
Build Mode Tips
Hold Alt while placing objects in Build Mode to freely position them without grid snapping. This allows overlapping and precise placement for detailed interior decoration. This shortcut works without enabling cheats and is separate from the console commands listed above.
For full creative freedom, combine the Alt placement trick with editAllSite true (to edit any lot), showStudioCategory true (to access studio-only objects), and showUserDevCategory true (to unlock developer items). This combination gives you access to nearly every object and property in the game.
March 2026 Update Additions
The March 2026 update (the one-year anniversary update) added two new console commands:
Addition | Description |
|---|---|
UnlockSiteArea | allows locked areas to be edited in Build Mode, expanding the buildable space on lots that previously had restricted zones. |
ToggleModinsight | displays a real-time overlay of a selected mod's properties and exportable parameters, intended for use by mod creators working with the ModKit. |
Warnings and Best Practices
Always save before using cheats, especially destructive ones. Some effects cannot be reversed.
apocalypseTheWorld makes permanent, irreversible changes to the entire city. Karma values drop to their lowest, families may disappear, and there is no way to undo this. Only use it on a save file you do not care about.
Some cheats may cause unexpected behavior during Early Access. If something breaks, reload a previous save.
Cheats are officially supported by KRAFTON and will not corrupt your save files under normal conditions, but stacking many cheats simultaneously can cause performance issues.
The development team has indicated that a graphical cheat menu (GUI) is being considered for future updates to make cheats easier to use without typing console commands.
