Overview
The Creative Studio (also called inZOI Studio) was a free standalone application on Steam that let players try inZOI's creation tools before buying the full game. It included two modes: the Character Studio (Create a Zoi) for designing characters, and the Build Studio for constructing lots and furnishing interiors. Creations made in the Creative Studio could be uploaded to Canvas, inZOI's community sharing platform, and those uploads persisted after the demo ended.
The Creative Studio is no longer available. It was removed from Steam on March 28, 2025, when the full Early Access build launched.

By launch day, players had uploaded over 470,000 creations to Canvas from 1.2 million participants during the Creative Studio period.
Character Studio
The Character Studio provided the same Create a Zoi tools found in the full game, with over 250 customization parameters for face, body, skin, hair, clothing, accessories, and nail art. Two AI-powered tools were included:
AI Texture (My Texture): generated custom fabric patterns from text prompts for clothing items.
3D Printer: converted uploaded 2D reference images into 3D decorative objects in roughly 20 seconds.
Characters could be saved as Zoi Presets in three formats: full character, face-only, or outfit-only. These presets could be uploaded to Canvas or kept locally.
Build Studio
The Build Studio was a sandbox building mode with access to the full construction toolkit: walls, roofs, stairs, fences, platforms, and gates. Players could also place furniture and decorative items from the complete catalog. The 3D Printer was available here as well for creating custom objects.
Builds could be saved as lot presets, room presets, or individual furniture presets, and uploaded to Canvas for others to download.
Canvas Integration
Canvas is inZOI's permanent community sharing platform, accessible in-game, from the lobby, and through a web browser at canvas.playinzoi.com. Both the standalone Creative Studio and the full game connect to the same Canvas platform using a KRAFTON ID account. Anything uploaded from the Creative Studio remained available after the demo ended and could be downloaded by players in the full Early Access version.

Notes
The Creative Studio and Build Studio are different things. Creative Studio was the full standalone app; Build Studio was the construction mode inside it.
Characters made in the Creative Studio can be imported into the full game if the player later purchases Early Access.
A KRAFTON account was required to upload creations to Canvas.
