Shops and Vendors
March 13, 2026 at 09:01 PM
Expanded with full shop directory table, added comprehensive sections for every shop, vending machines section, shopping tips including shop leveling system and seasonal stock changes, expanded individual shop descriptions with gameplay advice
Starsand Island has 16 shops and vendors spread across Starsand Town, Green Meadow, and Half-Moon Bay. Most shops operate from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with a few exceptions (Marlo's Morning Delights closes at 11:00 AM, while Zerine's General Store and Soluna Cafe Lodge are open 24 hours). Many blueprint purchases are gated behind profession certification tiers (Apprentice through Expert). Understanding how shops work and how to level them up is essential for progressing through the mid and late game.
Shops in Starsand Island use a leveling system: buying out a shop's current stock causes that shop to restock with improved and expanded inventory. This means regularly purchasing items you need (and even items you do not immediately need) is the fastest way to unlock higher-tier goods. Some shops also change their available stock per season, rotating in seasonal items during Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
The following table provides a quick reference for every shop on the island, including the owner, location, and operating hours.

Owner: Zerine (also the Crafting Profession Mentor). Hours: Open 24 hours. Location: Main road from the farm.
The largest blueprint selection in the game. Sells crafting ingredients, snacks, drinks, and Fiber (5 Coins, unlimited). Blueprint highlights by tier: Equipment Blueprint Pack at Starter (Cutter I, Charcoal Kiln, Furnace I, Separator), Textile Equipment (Spinning Wheel, Loom, Sewing Table), Storage Box upgrades, Ore Analyzer at Junior, Electric Drill and Chainsaw at Senior, Mining Robot, Logging Robot, and Teleporter at Expert. This is also where you sell items using the cash register.
The General Store is the only shop open around the clock, making it the go-to destination for late-night supply runs. Zerine's inventory is the broadest of any vendor, covering materials, consumables, and blueprints that span multiple professions. For new players, the Equipment Blueprint Pack available at the Starter tier is the most important early purchase, as it unlocks the core crafting stations needed to process raw materials.
Owner: Graminova (Farming Profession Mentor). Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: Next to Ethereal Styles.
Sells 50+ seed types (not season-restricted; any seed available year-round for stockpiling), fertilizers, and pesticides. Farming blueprints include Fertilizer Boxes (tiers I through V), Jam Maker, Brewing Barrel, Sprinklers (Normal through Pressurized), Mechanical Tiller, Powered Hoe, and the Greenhouse Building Manual (55,000 Coins at Expert).
A key detail that many players miss: seeds are not season-restricted at this shop. You can buy Summer seeds during Winter and stockpile them for the next growing season. This makes it worth visiting Graminova regularly to stock up on seeds for upcoming seasons, especially rare seed varieties that sell out quickly when other players are buying them. The Greenhouse Building Manual at Expert tier is one of the most expensive blueprints in the game but allows year-round crop growing regardless of the current season.
Owner: Lunelle. Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: South side of the plaza.
Clothing boutique with a rotating selection of outfits, accessories, and hats. Some pieces are limited-time only. No blueprints. See the Character Customization page for details.
Ethereal Styles has the most dynamic inventory of any shop on the island. The clothing selection changes with the seasons, and limited-time items appear during festivals and special events. The March 2026 update on the post-launch roadmap is adding Sun Wukong outfit pieces, firework-themed items, and Rednote collaboration exclusives to this shop's inventory. Lunelle's stock refreshes more frequently than most vendors, so checking back every few in-game days is worthwhile to avoid missing exclusive pieces.
Owner: Aurelis (Head Chef). Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: Right side of the plaza.
Sells takeout meals and 28 cooking recipes. You can buy dishes ready-to-eat or learn the recipe to cook at home. Blueprints: Gas Stove (1,000 Coins) and Juicer (550 Coins). The ready-made meals provide immediate stamina recovery and temporary buffs, making them useful before heading into the Moonlit Forest or during long farming sessions. Learning recipes is a one-time purchase that lets you cook the dish repeatedly at home using your own ingredients, which is more cost-effective in the long run.
Owner: Marlo. Hours: 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM only. Location: Next to Ethereal Styles.
Breakfast-only shop with the shortest operating window of any vendor. Sells hot meals that provide temporary buffs not available elsewhere. No blueprints. Marlo's food items provide unique buff combinations that stack with buffs from other food sources, making this a worthwhile stop for players who wake up early in-game. The 6:00 AM opening time means you can grab breakfast before most other shops open.
Owner: Charlene. Hours: Open 24 hours. Location: Across from Ethereal Styles.
Sells drinks and snacks for quick stamina recovery. Works as a 24-hour fallback when other food shops are closed. No blueprints. The cafe is especially useful during late-night crafting or farming sessions when Aurelis and Marlo are off-duty. While the items here provide less stamina per Coin than cooking your own meals, the convenience of 24-hour availability makes it a reliable safety net.
Owner: Alex. Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: Near the Newsstand.
Furniture blueprints, finished furniture, and decorations. Has a Glowing Shell Exchange section that uses Glowing Shells as an alternative currency for exclusive items. The Glowing Shell Exchange is the only way to obtain certain rare furniture pieces and decorations that cannot be crafted or found elsewhere. Glowing Shells are collected from the beach, the Moonlit Forest, and as rewards from certain achievements.
Owner: Sylvain. Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: Near Lex Woodworks.
Music shop selling records and instruments. Blueprint: Record Player (540 Coins). Records provide ambient music for your farm when played. The Instrument Shop scenic point added in patch 0.3.2537 is located near Silvan Notes, and the music performance system allows players to play instruments for NPC audiences to gain small affection bonuses.
Owner: Serena. Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: North side of town.
Beauty salon offering hairstyle and makeup changes (approximately 1,500+ Coins per service). Uses the same color wheels from the character creator. Not a traditional item shop. Unlike most vendors, Bloom Atelier sells services rather than items. Each visit allows you to completely redesign your character's hair, makeup, and facial features without starting a new save.
Owner: Stella. Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: North side, near the Community Center.
Sells adoptable pets: Scrappy the puppy (7,500 Coins) and Nana the white cat (7,500 Coins), both with a free Pet House blueprint. Also stocks pet supplies: Pet House, Water Bowl, Pet Bed. These are the two easiest pets to obtain in the game since they require only Coins and no affection grinding. Wild pets found around the island require building affection through repeated interactions before they can be adopted.
Owner: Loren. Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: Northeast, near the Community Center.
Token-based prize shop with no coin purchases. Buy tokens (1 token = 10 Coins, daily limit 80, plus 20 free from Loren). Two arcade games (Starblock and Foodybara), two gachapon machines (20 tokens per pull for exclusive blueprints, furniture, and clothing), and scratch cards (5 or 10 tokens). The gachapon machines contain items that are exclusive to the arcade and cannot be obtained any other way, making this a key destination for completionists.
Owner: Pastelle and Garrick (Ranching Profession Mentor). Hours: 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: Northwest of Hopeland.
Sells all livestock animals (Rabbits 75 Coins through Ostriches 2,750 Coins), animal feed, housing blueprints, and ranching equipment. Provides 2 free bags of feed daily. Animals unlock progressively through Rancher certification tiers. Also offers mount rentals (15-30 Coins/hour). The ranch opens at 6:00 AM, earlier than most shops, which is convenient since livestock need morning care. Garrick assists Pastelle with the ranch operations and can sell you items even when Pastelle is away from the counter.
Owner: Zephyria (Exploration Profession Mentor). Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: North of Green Pasture Ranch.
Sells adventuring tools and combat materials. Key blueprints: Ammo Maker, Slingshot, and pellets at Starter; Bait Holder, Plume Bow, and arrows at Junior; Gale Arrow at Senior; Time Arrow at Expert (around 4,500 Coins). The Slingshot blueprint is needed to break the Damaged Door into the Moonlit Forest. This is the only shop that sells combat-related blueprints, so adventurers will want to visit early and progress their Explorer certification to unlock the higher-tier weapon blueprints.
Owner: Delphin (Angler Profession Mentor). Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: Right side of the docks.
Sells fishing bait and rod blueprints in an upgrade chain: Chrono Rod (Apprentice, 800 Coins), Noble Rod (Junior, 3,500 Coins), Solar Rod (Senior, 9,000 Coins), Titanium Rod (Expert, 25,000 Coins). Each rod requires the previous one as a crafting component. Also sells Fish Traps, Fish Ponds, and Aquarium blueprints. The rod upgrade chain is linear, so you must purchase and craft each rod in order. Skipping ahead is not possible. Bait types also expand with certification tiers, and higher-quality bait significantly improves your chances of catching rare fish species.
Owner: Neona. Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: Main road near Half-Moon Bay.
Sells finished vehicles, vehicle blueprints, and offers rentals. Pre-built vehicles range from Reindeer Motorbike (85,000 Coins) to Lightning Car (650,000 Coins). Blueprints are significantly cheaper: Bamboo Raft (400 Coins) up to Nitro GTS (495,000 Coins). Crafting from blueprints saves money but requires a Worktable Level 2 or 3. Moped rentals start at 10 Coins/hour. Renting is a great option early in the game when you cannot afford to buy or craft a vehicle. The rental cost is minimal compared to walking everywhere, and the time saved gathering resources more than pays for itself.
Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: Docks at Starsand Port. Unlock: Requires completing Marston's Port Construction quest.
A rotating vendor that visits for one week at a time and refreshes every Monday. Sells rare items and, more importantly, buys player goods at 200% of normal value. Limited quantities per item per week. This is the best money-making outlet in mid-to-late game: stockpile processed goods throughout the week and sell them all when the Merchant Ship refreshes on Monday. The ship's buy list changes weekly, so check what items are in demand each visit to maximize your profits.
The Merchant Ship also occasionally sells exclusive decorative items and rare materials that are not available from any other vendor. These items rotate with each weekly visit, so it is worth checking the ship's sell inventory even if you are primarily visiting to offload your goods.
In addition to the staffed shops, Starsand Island has vending machines located at bus stops across the island. These automated vendors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and sell basic supplies including drinks, snacks, and simple crafting materials. Vending machines are a lifeline during late-night exploration when all staffed shops (except Zerine's and Soluna Cafe Lodge) are closed. The items are slightly more expensive than their shop equivalents, but the around-the-clock convenience makes them valuable in emergencies.
Every shop in Starsand Island can be leveled up by purchasing items. When you buy out a shop's current stock of a particular category, the shop restocks with expanded and improved inventory options. This system rewards frequent shoppers with access to rarer and more powerful items. The key strategy is to buy everything available at your current tier, even items you do not immediately need, to trigger the restock and unlock higher-tier goods.
Several shops rotate their inventory based on the current in-game season. Ethereal Styles is the most prominent example, with seasonal clothing collections that change every 28 in-game days. The Happiness Seed Shop does not restrict seed availability by season (all seeds are available year-round), which is an exception to the seasonal pattern. Limited-time items associated with festivals and events (such as the Chinese New Year Festival and the Beach Festival) appear temporarily and are removed once the event ends.
Most shops accept Coins as payment. Two exceptions exist: Lex Woodworks has a Glowing Shell Exchange section using Glowing Shells as alternative currency, and Chrono Arcade uses Tokens exclusively. For selling your own goods, the cash register at Zerine's General Store is the standard option. However, the Merchant Ship at Starsand Port pays 200% of the normal sell price, making it far more profitable. Plan your selling schedule around the Merchant Ship's weekly Monday refresh to maximize income.
A profession skill upgrade allows shop inventories to restock up to 3 times daily. Without this upgrade, shops restock once per day at opening time. The restock timer resets at the start of each in-game day. Consumable items like food, bait, and basic materials restock in unlimited quantities, but limited-stock items (rare blueprints, exclusive decorations) may take longer to reappear.
