Overview
The Beach Festival is the largest seasonal event in Starsand Island. It takes place at Half-Moon Bay over three in-game days at the end of Summer: Summer 25 and Summer 26 are preparation days, and Summer 27 is the main festival day. The event features four headline activities (Crab Herding, Offshore Racing, a market with exclusive cosmetics, and a Bonfire Party with a rhythm game) all powered by a special Beach Coins currency.
The Beach Festival is an annual event. It repeats every in-game year on the same dates, so anything you miss can be attempted again the following Summer.

Preparation days (Summer 25-26)
On Summer 25, Solara gives you the quest "Beach Festival is Coming". Over the next two days you help five NPCs set up the festival by delivering crafting materials. Each delivery rewards 200 Coins, 15 Starsand, 50 Beach Coins, and 20 Affection with that NPC. You only get about 20 minutes per prep day to finish all deliveries, so pre-craft everything before Summer 25.

Trash cleanup and Treasure Maps
While delivering materials, collect all the trash scattered across the beaches. Picking up trash rewards Coins, Beach Coins, blueprints, resources, and Beach Festival Treasure Maps. Equip a Treasure Map like a tool, follow the yellow arrow, and dig at the marked spot to unearth a Beach Festival Treasure Chest containing additional Beach Coins (roughly 65 per map), blueprints, and recipes.
Treasure Maps are the single most efficient source of Beach Coins during prep days. Players have reported earning over 3,000 Beach Coins through trash cleanup and treasure hunting alone. Clean every beach thoroughly, the main beach and all adjacent beaches.
If you have the double chest perk (Victory Siphon from the Explorer Workpedia), each Treasure Map can yield two chests, making this strategy even more rewarding.
Festival day activities (Summer 27)
Crab Herding (8:00 AM)
Head to the docks near Marston's house and speak to the Crab Boss NPC. Each attempt costs 100 Coins. Fiddler crabs spawn on the beach and a glowing square marks the target zone. Your job is to herd at least one crab into the zone.
Move your character near a crab to nudge it forward. Use a zigzag pattern to guide the crab toward the target rather than chasing it in a straight line. If you chase a single crab for too long, it burrows into the sand and despawns, forcing you to find another. Crabs can also get stuck on beach furniture and obstacles, so approach from an angle that gives them a clear path.
Each successful round awards 15 Beach Coins. The mini-game is repeatable, but the 100-Coin entry fee makes it inefficient compared to Treasure Maps for farming Beach Coins.
Offshore Racing (10:00 AM)
Borrow a jet ski from Delphin and click the leaderboard board behind him to start the race. Drive through a series of checkpoints on the water as fast as possible. Hold the Sprint button for a speed boost, but be careful, steering sensitivity scales with speed, so going too fast makes turning difficult.
Balance speed with control. Slow down slightly before tight turns to stay on course. Top-three finishers earn unique rewards, and the first time you complete a race you unlock exclusive outfit pieces.
Beach Market (12:00 PM)
Vendor stalls open around Half-Moon Bay at noon. The market uses Beach Coins as currency (not regular Coins). Available items include:
Exclusive outfit blueprints including the premium beach-flower outfit
Hairstyles festival-only hair options not available at Ethereal Styles
Clothing from Lunelle most items are affordable, but the bottoms cost 600 Beach Coins
Aurelis runs a food stall and Lunelle runs a clothing stall. Check both as soon as the market opens to plan how to spend your Beach Coins.
Bonfire Party (7:00 PM)
The evening highlight. Stella and Sylvain perform on the beach stage. Stella sings while Sylvain plays violin. You can join them on stage and play guitar in a rhythm game. Notes scroll across the screen and you press the corresponding arrow keys or WASD keys in time with the music.
Warning: Once you join the Bonfire Party, you cannot leave to do other activities. The bonfire ends with a cutscene, after which NPCs head home. The festival officially wraps up at midnight. Complete all shopping, Crab Herding, and racing before attending the bonfire.

Recommended festival day schedule
Summer 27 is packed. Activities open at fixed times and the Bonfire Party locks you out of everything else once you join. Follow this order to experience everything:
Before 8:00 AM: Arrive at Half-Moon Bay. Make sure you have enough Coins for Crab Herding attempts (100 Coins each).
8:00 AM: Play Crab Herding at the docks. Do a few rounds for Beach Coins, but do not spend too long. Treasure Maps are more efficient.
10:00 AM: Head to Delphin for Offshore Racing. Aim for a top-three finish for unique rewards. Complete at least one race for the first-time outfit pieces.
12:00 PM: Browse the Beach Market. Buy exclusive outfits and hairstyles with your Beach Coins. Prioritise items you want most since Beach Coins expire at the end of the event.
Afternoon: Repeat any activities for more Beach Coins if needed. Finish all shopping.
7:00 PM: Join the Bonfire Party at the beach stage. Enjoy the rhythm game, the performances, and the closing cutscene.
Midnight: Festival ends. Head home before 2:00 AM or your character passes out with reduced stamina the next day.
Tips
Pre-craft all preparation materials. You only get about 20 minutes per prep day to make deliveries. Have everything ready before Summer 25: 12 Hardwood Planks, 4 Glass Panes, 18 Coal, 3 Iron Ingots, 3 Bronze Ingots, 3 Fine Salt, and 2 Iron Sheets.
Unlock the Moonlit Forest first. It contains Coal, Iron, and Quartz deposits needed for crafting prep materials. Advance your Crafting and Exploration professions beforehand.
Collect every piece of trash on all beaches. Trash cleanup is the main source of Treasure Maps, which are the most efficient way to earn Beach Coins. Clean the main beach and all adjacent beaches.
Use a vehicle to get around faster. A skateboard, rollerblades, or rented scooter makes traversing Half-Moon Bay much faster during the timed prep quests.
Save the Bonfire Party for last. Joining it locks you out of all other activities for the rest of the night.
Spend all Beach Coins before midnight. They expire when the festival ends. Do not save them for next year.
The event repeats every year. If you miss something, you can try again next Summer.
