Legendary Birds

Overview

The three Legendary Birds from the Kanto region (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres) can be obtained in Pokemon Pokopia by constructing special building kits in Palette Town. Each bird requires its own unique structure, a large quantity of materials, and 15 Pokemon helpers. Construction takes approximately one in-game day per building. Only one building kit can be built per day due to their size.

All three birds share the Fly specialty, which lets the player fast-travel to any Pokemon's location by speaking to the bird while viewing that Pokemon in the Pokedex. Obtaining all three birds unlocks the Tidal Bell recipe needed to summon Lugia.

Articuno

Building Kit: Freezing Chambers

The Freezing Chambers blueprint is found on the eastern island of Palette Town, atop the waterfalls. Construct this structure to attract Articuno.

Zapdos

Building Kit: Abandoned Power Plant

The Abandoned Power Plant blueprint is found on the southern island of Palette Town, atop the central mountain. This is the most material-intensive of the three kits.

• 1 with Generate specialty

• 11 additional Pokemon (any specialty)

Moltres

Building Kit: Altar of Flame

The Altar of Flame blueprint is found on the northwestern island of Palette Town. This kit requires Lava Rocks, which are only available from the Rocky Ridges volcano interior.

• 1 with Burn specialty

• 1 with Crush specialty

Moltres Details

Connection to Lugia

After all three Legendary Birds have been obtained and are living on the player's island, the Tidal Bell recipe unlocks. The Tidal Bell is crafted using 5 Silver Feathers and 5 Rare Pokemetal. Ringing the Tidal Bell summons Lugia. Silver Feathers can be found on Dream Islands or obtained by offering Dry-flavor food to Mosslax to increase feather spawn rates.

Building all three structures requires a significant stockpile of processed materials:

Tips

• Only one building kit can be constructed per day. Plan three consecutive days for all three birds.

• Start stockpiling Copper Ingots early. You need 100 total across Zapdos and Moltres.

• Pokemetal (30 total) is the most difficult material to gather. Use Hamburger Steak before mining in Sparkling Skylands.

• All three birds have the Fly specialty. Having them on your island gives you three fast-travel options to any Pokemon's location.

• After obtaining all three birds, start farming Silver Feathers for the Tidal Bell. Offer Dry-flavor food to Mosslax to boost feather drop rates on Dream Islands.

• Palette Town is spacious and ideal for these large structures. Clear terrain before starting construction.
