Added Part II and Part III join points, Tahonia and Klapka, Bahr Vahn's chapter, and recruitment conditions for Gaitz, Creek, Nathan, Centurio, Aswan and Inyoni; updated launch framing
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has one of the larger casts the series has fielded. The game launched on September 17, 2026, and one retail recruitment guide lists about 62 recruitable characters besides the avatar, while counts published against the pre-launch roster landed somewhere between the high fifties and the low sixties depending on which guests and boss-only units were included, so this page does not commit to a hard total. What follows is every named character this wiki has recorded, grouped by the clan or organisation they are indexed under, with their role and a short note. Characters with their own page are linked; the rest are listed here because a row is all the material currently supports.
Units are grouped by clan rather than by class or country, because that is how the game itself indexes them. Every group entered in the Heroic Games fights under its own banner, and a unit's clan tells you which of the four routes they appear on and whether they arrive as an ally, a guest or an opponent. Many rival-clan members are both: they are fought as bosses in one route and recruited in another. The clans themselves are covered on Factions.
The clan grouping is the game’s own, not an editorial convenience. Roster listings publish each unit under the team it fights for, with a first-appearance chapter and a first-join chapter alongside, and units that change hands are listed twice. Several characters sit under a clan banner and under a second heading as well, which is why a few names below appear in more than one table.

Route names in the notes below use the game's internal labels: Fox is the route of Cai, Lion is Dietrich, Wolf is Theodora and Eagle is Leda. Two shared prologues come before the routes split.
One piece of cast news from this window is deliberately left out below. On September 8, 2026 four of these characters, Cai, Dietrich, Theodora and Leda, were added to Fire Emblem Heroes, a separate mobile game. What they do there belongs to that game, and none of it is documented on this wiki.

Four names entered the published roster after the bulk of this page was written, on September 13, 2026. One of them has a described role; the other three are names on a roster index with nothing attached, and they are recorded here so that the index is complete rather than because anything is known about them.
Name | Group | What Is Known |
|---|---|---|
Bartolomé | An assassin hired to kill Sergio, the late king of Saramis, and the figure said to have taken the arm of Theodora. He competes in the Heroic Games wearing a mask, and is fought as a boss on the Wolf route, appearing in two separate chapters. His name had circulated as an unidentified masked opponent before the roster attached it. | |
Bahr Vahn | Not stated | Indexed among the bosses, and fought in the sixth chapter of the Wolf route, The Treasure Hunter, in a battle titled Bahr Vahn Showdown. No class, faction or profile has been documented on this wiki as of September 2026. |
Nomved | Not stated | Indexed among the non-playable cast. No detail documented on this wiki as of September 2026. |
Randa | Not stated | Indexed among the non-playable cast. No detail documented on this wiki as of September 2026. |
The Bartolomé entry matters beyond the name, because it closes a gap. Theodora is described as carrying an arm that is not her own, granted by the being Mahadu, and the reason she needed one had not been published. An assassin sent after her father who took the arm in the attempt supplies it. That chain rests on roster material rather than on a Nintendo statement, so it is recorded as the current reading rather than as settled.
A further group of characters has been shown without a name attached: a figure seen with Leda, two masked opponents fought by the Wolf route party, a companion seated beside Aswan, a figure standing with Bertrand, two associates of Hong Hua, and the opponent Sirocco calls the Mad Dog. Names kept arriving through the pre-launch window, most recently Gaitz and Guillermo, and these rows will be filled in as the retail game's names are documented, and this page is the place new units are added first.
Roster listings now carry a first-appearance and a first-join chapter for part of the cast. The two columns differ for the four Heroes, who are fought in the second prologue in corrupted forms before they can be played. Chapters are written the way the game writes them, as a route name, a Part number and a chapter number. Rows for the Part II and Part III joiners come from walkthroughs of the retail game. Units not listed below join through the optional recruitment loop in the first Part.
