Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is the eighteenth main entry in Intelligent Systems' tactical role-playing series, set in the Dagdan Empire and its capital Dagsion, in the same universe as Fire Emblem: Three Houses. A customisable avatar, named Eshmel by default, is drawn into the Heroic Games, a tournament whose winner is granted a wish by the Divine Sovereign, alongside four heroes who each lead a separate route: Cai, Theodora, Dietrich, and Leda. Turn-based grid combat returns with Combat Arts, which trade weapon durability for stronger attacks, joined by the new Blaze Arts. Between matches you prepare for the next opponent by exploring Dagsion, training at the arena, taking on quests, and recruiting warriors. It launches September 17, 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2.

How recruiting works in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. Warriors met in Dagsion can be won over with gifts and shared meals once support and Renown requirements are met, and allies gained during a Hero's story bolster your forces later.
