Benditz leads the Thundercloud Knights, one of the smaller clans fighting in the Heroic Games of 1449. He is playable, he fights as a Charioteer, and he wants to be a general. He is also a clean example of a pattern this game uses often: the same clan leader stands as an opponent in one Hero's chapters and fights alongside the player elsewhere.

Appearances
Each of the four Heroes runs their own numbered chapters, and Benditz is the chapter boss in two of them. The route structure means a player who takes all four Heroes through their stories will fight him twice and can also field him.
Appearance | Detail |
|---|---|
Boss against Ribeira Winds | Cai route, Part 1 Chapter 5, as a Charioteer |
Boss against House Lamine | Dietrich route, Part 1 Chapter 5 |

The Direct used one of his matches to explain how a battle ends. Defeating the leader of the opposing side is one of the victory conditions, and Benditz is the leader on screen when that rule is spelled out. A commercial shows the other side of it, with Dietrich putting him down.
Personality
What has been published about him is a single ambition, delivered as he falls: "My great dream... I'll be a general yet..." Nothing else about his background, his kingdom of origin or his relationship with the other clan leaders has been announced.
Notes
His clan is named only through him. The Thundercloud Knights have no other confirmed members on any roster so far. Factions covers the full set of clans in the tournament.
