Personality
His published profile gives him grand ambitions and an appetite for danger. He is described as immensely curious, drawn to risky adventures, and giving off an impression of being frivolous and unreliable. The unreliability is described as the impression he gives, not as a stated fact about him.
Vandahl Trading
Talimun is the chief manager of Vandahl Trading, one of the leading merchant guilds on Dagda. Ursula works directly under him as manager, second in authority and responsible for the guild's money, and she is described as pressing him hard about his spending. The company is the reason he is on the road at all.
The clearest look at how it operates comes from a scene with Dietrich. Talimun asks Ursula how much liquid cash he has available for purchases. She answers that once taxes, wages and repairs to the Zlatan are taken into account, the company can afford a certain amount. He then offers Dietrich 3.9 million gold for the Answerer. Ursula objects that the figure is three times their limit; his reply is that the difference comes out of his own pocket, because a man like that will not move unless they take on some risk. Nothing published says whether the sale goes through.
The Zlatan is not identified on screen. The reading that it is the company's ship is offered as a possibility rather than stated, and no published material says what it is.
The Moon's Lie
The Moon's Lie is Talimun's own clan. Published membership puts Ursula alongside him, with Fianna and Ludia fighting under the same banner. It is one of the clans that turn up on both sides of the board: members appear as guest units fighting with your party in some chapters and as bosses opposing it in others. On the route led by Theodora, both Talimun and Ursula are listed among the opponents her team faces during the 1449 arc. Factions covers the full set of teams.
Long-Night Katara
The Long-Night Katara is described in-game as a liuyedao imbued with dark power, and it is flagged as a cursed weapon. It grants the Siphon Luck Combat Art. Cursed objects are a running thread in this game rather than a one-off, and several other named characters carry one.

Those figures come from pre-release listings rather than an official announcement. Preview footage also shows Talimun with a full Blaze Art gauge, where some other units outside the four Heroes have been seen with only a partial one.
He is one of the nine characters confirmed to have Blaze Arts, the commands paid for in health rather than from a resource bar. None of his has been named and no effect has been published for any of them, so the full gauge in that footage is the only concrete thing on record.
Story Appearances
The September 2025 reveal trailer includes a shot of Dietrich holding a blade to his throat. Later footage puts that moment in context: the two are surrounded by assailants, the Answerer begins reacting to something nearby, and Dietrich presses Talimun on whether he is carrying anything abnormal. Talimun says he has no idea what it could be.
Promotional footage also shows him fighting with different parties in different chapters: alongside Dietrich and Orchel against soldiers of Arago, alongside Cai and Leda against another opposing clan, and alongside Theodora and Anatolia against Alcor soldiers. That spread is consistent with how his clan is described, since guest appearances put him on several teams that are not his own.
Notes
Preview accounts describe a set of statues in Dagsion honoring the competitors who reached the top eight of the Heroic Games, with Talimun among the figures shown.
Talimun is voiced by Mauricio Ortiz-Segura in English and Shin-ichiro Miki in Japanese. His profile also has him collecting a class of goods called Drake's Treasure, with nothing further published about what those are.
