Sofia is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, a priest who specialises in healing magic and can extend how far it reaches. The roster listings place her among the Temples of Dagda. Outside battle her published profile is mostly about food: she has an enormous appetite and it is the first thing anyone notices about her.

Role

Sofia has been in party line-ups since the game's first trailer and turns up across several different groups in later footage. She cleans the temples with Theodora's party in one scene and visits an inn with Dietrich's in another, so she does not look tied to a single Hero.

She is also the character used to show that recruitment conditions are not the same on every path. The Renown level required to bring her in differs depending on which route the player is on, which is the clearest published example of route-specific recruitment gating.

Combat Role

Her profile is built around restoration: she specialises in healing magic and can raise how much it does. Her class listing pairs Commoner with Diviner, the magic-and-support line. Her personal skill is Distant Healing, and what it does is specific rather than general: it extends the range of her healing spells, so she can reach a wounded ally without stepping into the danger that ally is standing in. An earlier reading of the same skill off preview footage rendered the name as Healing Knowledge. No stats or growths have been published for her.

Personality

Her listed likes are delicious food and the moment food is served, which by her own account does not last long. Cleaning a temple in one scene, she remarks that dinner tastes better after hard work.

Notes

The name is Greek in origin and means wisdom.
