Noctula is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, a gladiator who fights bare-fisted with gauntlets and is proud of the body she trained to do it with. Roster listings make her one of the earliest optional recruits available on Cai's route.

Biography
Noctula was born into a warlike tribe. She grew tired of rural life and of the men of her village and left for Dagsion, a city she had wanted to see since she was a child. She fights in the capital as a gladiator, which is the same trade Gaitz works in at the Arena.
Personality
Her listed likes are the city and the people in it, brawling and training; her interests are sightseeing and more training. Her profile leads with pride in her physique rather than with any ambition about rank or reputation, which sets her apart from most of the fighters who came to Dagsion for the tournament.

The effect stacks with what her profile already says about her, that her focus rises as a fight goes on and she becomes harder to hit. In practice it makes her more survivable the longer she is left in contact with the enemy, which is the opposite of how most gauntlet fighters are usually played.
Role in Battle
She fights at close quarters using gauntlets, with punches described as fast and fierce. She appears in Cai's party in pre-launch footage alongside Tialla, Peter and Guzran. Gauntlets are one of the weapon families listed on Weapons.
Recruitment
Noctula is one of the cheapest recruits in Part I. She asks for no gold, items or quests, only a Support level with the Path's Hero and a Renown level, and on three of the four Paths Support level 1 is enough. On Cai's Path she is a natural sixth unit once Ultand has joined, since she only needs 4 Renown there.
