Medical and Healthcare Careers
Medical and healthcare careers do not currently exist in inZOI. There are no doctor, nurse, paramedic, or pharmacist career paths in the Early Access version of the game. Hospitals appear on the city map as named buildings (such as the Dowon Medical Station), but they are not functional locations that Zois can enter or work in. The developers have stated that implementing full hospital simulations would be too complex for the current phase of development. However, the 2026 roadmap confirms that healthcare systems centered on hospitals and pharmacies are planned for a future update.
Current Healthcare System
While there are no medical careers, inZOI does have an illness and treatment system that operates entirely at the household level:

All illness treatment is currently handled at home through First Aid Kits. When a Zoi gets sick (from cold weather, contagion, pollen allergies, or food poisoning), the player clicks on the First Aid Kit and selects "Take Cold Medicine" to cure the illness. There is no option to visit a hospital or consult a medical professional.
How Illness Works Without Medical Careers
The absence of medical careers means that illness management falls entirely on the player. Key illness mechanics include:
Contagion - sickness spreads rapidly within households. If one Zoi falls ill, others in the same home will likely catch it within hours.
Seasonal risk - winter months significantly increase cold and flu rates across the city.
Death from disease - untreated illness can progress to a fatal infection. Disease is one of 17 confirmed death types in inZOI.
Work impact - sick Zois perform worse at their jobs and in school, affecting career progression and grades.
City sanitation - the city management menu includes a sanitation setting that influences illness rates across the entire population.

Existing Career Paths
inZOI currently offers 18 full-time careers and 4 part-time jobs across Dowon and Bliss Bay. None involve healthcare or medicine. The closest career to a public service role is the Firefighter career at Dowon Fire Station, which involves emergency response but not medical care:

The Firefighter career is Dowon-exclusive with a five-tier promotion path. While firefighters respond to emergencies, they do not treat illnesses or perform medical procedures.
