Large Trees

Overview

Large Trees are a furniture category in Pokemon Pokopia that provide shade, decoration, and habitat components. Unlike regular Berry Trees, Large Trees are primarily decorative and structural, though some berry tree varieties also count as Large Trees when fully grown. Large Trees are planted from seeds found across different regions.

Habitat Usage

Large Trees are used in the Tree-Shaded Tall Grass (#002) habitat, which requires Tall Grass and a Large Tree. This is one of the earliest habitats available. Multiple other tree-shaded habitats use Large Trees as components. Check the Habitat Dex for all habitats requiring trees.

Region-Specific Trees

Pointy Trees have a coniferous appearance suited to the mountain areas of Rocky Ridges and the floating islands of Sparkling Skylands. Palm Trees fit the coastal aesthetic of Bleak Beach. Berry trees serve double duty as both fruit producers and Large Tree habitat components. When building habitats that require a Large Tree, any variety works unless the habitat specifically names a tree type.

Tips

Large Trees take longer to grow than Berry Trees but provide the same habitat functionality once mature. Use the Grow specialty from Pokemon like Bulbasaur to speed up growth. Palm Seeds are exclusive to Bleak Beach, so collect extras when visiting that region. Pointy Trees give Rocky Ridges and Sparkling Skylands builds a regional flavor that matches the environment.
