Bubbly Basin is an underwater town coming to Pokemon Pokopia in August 2026 as Part 1 of the paid Expansion Pass. It is the first town in the game set beneath the sea.
Bubbly Basin introduces a town where you live alongside Pokemon underwater. The area brings ocean floor-themed furniture and new outfits for Ditto, and it builds on the new move Dive, which lets you plant grass, build structures, and create underwater towns. Your existing save data carries over; the town adds onto your current island rather than replacing it.
Own the Expansion Pass ($34.99), which covers all three DLC parts.
Complete the request Raise the environment level! in Bleak Beach.
Learn Dive from the free Version 2.0 update, which also arrives in August 2026.
A full roster has not been published. The reveal trailer and early coverage show Popplio, Mudkip, and Corphish living in the area, and the trailer closes with a tease of the Mythical Pokemon Manaphy. Expect more species to be revealed closer to launch; treat the current list as partial.
