Overview
Toward the Nest is the final quest of Chapter 5: Guest Unbidden in Crimson Desert. It takes Kliff to the Spire of Soaring in northern Demeniss, a towering structure filled with wind-based traversal puzzles. The quest culminates in the definitive boss fight against the Crowcaller, who has three full health bars this time.
Walkthrough
Travel to the Spire of Soaring
The Spire is located in northern Demeniss. Look for a cave entrance on the right side of a cliff face. Enter the cave to reach the tower's basement.
Activate the Spire of Soaring
The Spire is a vertical traversal puzzle that relies on wind platforms and Axiom Force abilities. Here is the sequence:
Use wind platforms to reach the upper floors. Double-press Square to glide between them.
On the first puzzle floor, rotate the wall panels using Axiom Force (hold L3, move right stick) to redirect power from the left wall to the right wall.
Stand on the newly activated platform to ride it up to the next level.
Spin the large circular wall panel twice to align the power lines in a left-bottom-right configuration.
Stand on the central platform as it rises through the tower roof and into the sky. This ride takes about two minutes.
Cross the Crescent Skybridge
At the top, step on the floor plate to activate a fast travel point. The Skybridge section is a complex aerial obstacle course:
Use three Force Palm attacks (R3) while airborne to reach upper platforms with light orbs.
Position the right and left orbs so their light shines at the corresponding blue wall panels.
Jump across the rotating rings, using Force Palm boosts and gliding to maintain altitude.
On the far side, reconnect two broken yellow power cables.
Hit the center of a round wall panel with Force Palm while hanging from it.
Turn the pillar with Axiom Force until it glows blue.
Cross the now-activated Skybridge.
Reach the Final Battleground
Follow the emerging platforms on the far side of the bridge. Launch off wind turbines and land on a blue ground platform that teleports you to the arena. Activate the fast travel point here before approaching the tree ahead.
Boss Fight: Crowcaller (Final)
This is the definitive fight against the Crowcaller, and he has three full health bars compared to the single bar from Bloodwind. He is faster and more aggressive, combining sword strikes with crow-summoning abilities.
The core strategy remains the same: counter his attacks with L1 / LB, execute quick combos during openings, and heal continuously with directional pad right. Do not try to tank through his combos. Each phase makes his attack chains longer, but his telegraphs stay readable if you watch his shoulders before each swing.
Bring at least 100 Grilled Meat. If you want to brute-force the fight, stack 200+ healing items and trade hits aggressively while out-healing his damage.

Tips
Activate the fast travel point before the boss fight. If you die and need to resupply, you can warp back quickly.
The Tauria Curved Sword you receive as a reward is one of the best weapons at this point in the game. Keep it equipped going into Chapter 6.
The Spire traversal puzzles are one-time affairs. Once you solve them and activate the fast travel points, you can skip them entirely on return visits.
If you struggle with the aerial sections, focus on timing your glides rather than spamming Force Palm. Controlled movement is more reliable than frantic button presses.
