Overview
Rings are one of the four accessory types in Crimson Desert. Players can equip up to two rings at a time. Rings generally focus on offensive stats, particularly Attack. At higher refinement levels, all rings unlock Stamina Regeneration bonuses.
Rings can be obtained from enemy drops, Strongbox puzzles, Contribution Shops, and theft (with a criminal Mask). Like all accessories, rings can be refined at a Blacksmith up to level 10.

0 | 0 | Attack, Attack Speed at Refinement Lv.2 | Stolen (requires Mask) |
Comparison
The Hernandian Signet and Pailunese Signet are the strongest offensive rings, both providing +2 Attack. The Pailunese Signet additionally grants Critical Rate Lv.1, making it the superior choice for damage-focused builds. The Tarnished Ring at +1 Attack is the most common early-game ring, and doubling up with two Tarnished Rings matches the Signet's +2 Attack total.
The Worn Ring starts at 0 Attack but unlocks Attack and Attack Speed at Refinement Lv.2, making it situationally useful for players who invest in early refinement. The Finely Crafted Gold Ring from Stellen Manor offers refinement potential, though its exact base stats have not been fully documented.
Refinement
All rings can be refined at a Blacksmith up to level 10. Ring refinement generally unlocks Stamina Regeneration bonuses at higher levels. Duplicate rings or other accessories can be used as refinement materials.
Stat Formula
Every ring in Crimson Desert occupies a global accessory slot, and the stat skeleton on each piece is fixed. Every ring rolls a stamina regen line and a base attack line as its non-negotiable baseline, and the only meaningful difference between rings is how much of the attack budget is traded into a secondary attack speed line. Because you can equip two rings, and because both apply globally, the rings slot is where you build your global attack speed stack for every weapon in your inventory.
Pure-attack rings: higher flat attack value, no attack speed secondary. Best only when you have already capped your attack speed elsewhere, which is rare in the current patch.
Attack-speed rings: trade some flat attack for a 4 attack speed secondary line at max refinement. Two of these stacked together deliver 8 global attack speed, which is the DPS ceiling the foundation doctrine targets.
Best Baseline Pair
The two rings that currently hit the 4 attack speed tier at full refinement are the Witch's Ring and the Mark of Darkness. The Witch's Ring drops from the Nest of Valor abyss boss at the end of the Unwavering Steps quest, and the Mark of Darkness is hidden behind a strongbox jigsaw puzzle at Windmere Manor north of Demenissh. Together they put every build at a global 8 attack speed baseline, which applies to two-handed swings, dual wield combos, bow shots, and unarmed kicks without any further investment.
If the community discovers an additional ring with 4 or more attack speed in a later patch, it would slot directly into this foundation by replacing whichever existing ring is easier for you to obtain. Until then, this pair is the current ceiling.
Notes
Players can equip two rings simultaneously, making ring choices an important part of build optimization.
Most rings focus on Attack, making them the primary offensive accessory type alongside weapons.
The Hernandian Signet requires 65 Contribution Points from Hernand, making it a mid-game acquisition for most players.
The Demeniss Cathedral Ring is available through the Demeniss Contribution Shop for 25 points.

Refinement Details
All rings can be refined at a Blacksmith up to level 10. Refinement costs currency and specific materials that scale with the ring's current level:
Levels 1 through 5 require common materials such as Small Bone. Costs range from approximately 1,750 to several thousand currency.
Levels 6 through 9 require rarer materials including Epidote, Silver Ore, and Diamond.
Level 10 requires endgame materials such as Aeserion's Scale and an Abyss Artifact. The cost for the final refinement reaches approximately 37,588 currency.
Secondary and tertiary stats (Attack Speed, Critical Rate, Movement Speed, Stamina Regeneration) typically begin unlocking at Refinement Level 3 and above. Duplicate rings or other accessories can be used as refinement materials to offset the resource cost.
As an example, the Ancient Ring starts at 0 Attack with Attack Speed Lv.0 and reaches 3 Attack with Attack Speed Lv.3 at Refinement Level 10.
How to Obtain Rings
Bandit drops are the most common early-game source. Roadside bandits frequently drop Tarnished Rings.
Contribution Shops sell faction-specific rings. The Hernandian Signet costs 65 Contribution Points from the Hernand shop.
Strongbox puzzles contain unique rings. The Finely Crafted Gold Ring is found in Stellen Manor's Strongbox in Pailune.
Boss drops yield high-tier rings. The Ogre's Ring (5 ATK) comes from boss encounters.
Theft with a criminal Mask equipped allows stealing the Worn Ring from NPCs.
Accessory Slot Context
Players can equip up to six accessories simultaneously: two rings, two earrings, one necklace, and one cloak. Each accessory type specializes in different stat areas:
Rings focus on Attack and Attack Speed, with Stamina Regeneration at higher refinement.
Earrings lean toward Defense and Movement Speed, with Health Regeneration as a tertiary bonus.
Necklaces boost Attack and can unlock Critical Rate, with Spirit Regeneration at higher levels.
Cloaks primarily offer elemental resistance rather than raw Attack or Defense.
Build Recommendations
For pure damage builds, the Delesyian Signet (3 base ATK with Attack Speed, Movement Speed, and Critical Rate) and the Ogre's Ring (5 base ATK) are the strongest options. The Ring of Lightning (4 base ATK plus the Charge Lightning skill) offers both damage and utility.
Players on a budget in the early game can double up with two Tarnished Rings from bandit farming and refine them cheaply. The regional Signets (Hernandian, Pailunese, Demenissian, Greymane, Tashkalp) provide solid mid-game options obtainable through faction reputation.
