Overview
Starsand Island has four seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter each with distinct scenery, weather, crop availability, and fishing spawns. Special events occur during certain seasons, offering unique activities, exclusive rewards, and limited-time items.
Seasons

Summer | Hot weather, lush greenery, beach season. The Beach Festival takes place at the end of summer. Some crops thrive in heat while others wilt. |
Fall (Autumn) | Colorful foliage, harvest season, cooler weather. Fang and Nia arrive from My Time at Sandrock on the first day of Autumn. Fall-exclusive mushrooms and crops appear. |
Winter | Snow, shorter days, limited outdoor farming. Indoor activities and social events become more prominent. Some winter-exclusive fish appear under ice. |
Beach Festival
The Beach Festival takes place at Half-Moon Bay at the end of Summer (Summer 27, with preparation activities on Summer 25-26). It is the largest seasonal event in the game.

Beach Cleanup | Help clean debris from the shore. A community-oriented activity that rewards participation. |

Splendid Wonderland: A Dream of Blue Tears
A nighttime bioluminescent event at Half-Moon Bay. Active between 21:00 and 02:00, the event transforms the bay into a glowing blue spectacle with bioluminescent plankton, jellyfish, and floating lights.
Players can walk along illuminated paths, collect glowing items, and take scenic photographs.
Limited-time items and decorations are available from event vendors.
The event occurs periodically and is announced in advance on the in-game calendar.
Chinese New Year
A festive celebration featuring red lanterns, fireworks, traditional decorations, and themed food items. The event includes free seasonal furniture available through the Chinese New Year DLC pack and special activities around Starsand Town.
Permanent rewards
All event rewards earned during seasonal events are permanent additions to your collection. Furniture, clothing, and decorative items can be used year-round, not just during the event. Event currencies expire at the end of each event, so spend them before the event closes.
