Tin Ingot
Tin Ingot is a processed metal in Starsand Island. Tin Ingots are smelted from Tin Ore at the Furnace and serve primarily as one of two components in Bronze Ingot production, the alloy that gates many Junior-tier upgrades.

Where to Get Tin Ore
Surface Island. Tin Ore deposits appear in rocky areas across the island surface, often near Copper Ore nodes. Look for slightly metallic-tinted rocks.
Moonlit Forest, early sections. The Moonlit Forest contains Tin in its first half. Spawns thin out roughly halfway through as higher-tier ores take over.
Tool requirement. Tin Ore can be mined with the starter Stone Pickaxe. No upgraded pickaxe is needed.
Major Uses
Bronze Ingot. 1 Tin Ingot + 1 Copper Ingot + 1 Charcoal -> 1 Bronze Ingot at the Furnace. Bronze is the first alloy in the game and gates Junior-tier tools and recipes.
Solid-State Battery. The Senior-tier power component recipe lists Tin Ingot among its inputs alongside Iron Sheet and Radiant Crystal.
Tool upgrades. Several Junior and Intermediate tool recipes consume Bronze (and therefore Tin Ingot) as a component, including the Machete and Impact Hammer.
Tips
Stockpile Tin Ore early. Tin becomes less available deeper in the Moonlit Forest, and Bronze demand persists throughout mid-game. Take every Tin node you see during early forest passes.
Build multiple Furnaces if needed. Each ingot takes about six seconds to process. Two Furnaces let you smelt Copper and Tin in parallel for faster Bronze runs.
Smelt Tin into Bronze rather than selling raw. Bronze sells for noticeably more than raw Tin Ingot and is needed for several mid-game upgrades.
