Community lots
Guide to community lots in inZOI: public lot types across Dowon, Bliss Bay, and Cahaya, including parks, gyms, restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, galleries, amusement parks, and karaoke venues. Covers visiting mechanics, NPC interactions, lot editing in Edit City, and the v0.5.0 business ownership expansion.
Overview
Community lots are public locations where Zois can socialize, work, develop skills, and engage in activities that are not available at home. Each of inZOI's three cities has its own set of community lots with different themes and offerings. Lots are marked on the city map with icons indicating their type and operating hours.
The v0.5.0 update (December 2025) added business ownership, which lets players purchase and operate some lot types as commercial ventures. Turning community lots from places to visit into places to run.
Lot types

Parks and plazas | Open-air spaces for fitness activities, socializing, busking, and relaxation. Parks often have fitness equipment, benches, and foot traffic for busking income. |
Gyms and fitness centers | Equipment for strength training, cardio, yoga, and sports. Bliss Bay's Muscle Beach has an outdoor gym near the basketball court. |
Restaurants and food lots | Dining venues where Zois eat prepared meals. After v0.5.0, players can own and operate restaurants. |
Cafes | Coffee-focused venues. Notable examples include Cafe Gaon (Dowon center), Cafe Mar (Bliss Bay east), and the Tarot Fortune Cafe (Dowon northwest). See Coffee and Beverages. |
Bars and nightclubs | Evening entertainment venues with DJs, dancing, and drink service. Open late, these lots attract social Zois and provide relationship-building opportunities. |
Art galleries | The Narim Art Gallery in Dowon is the primary venue for art appreciation, connected to the Great Painter ambition. |
Karaoke venues | Coin Booth Karaoke in Dowon (eastern side, map DE3) is the main karaoke spot, open 8 AM to 10 PM. See Performing Arts. |
Amusement parks | The Bliss Bay Amusement Park has rides and attractions that transform into a fireworks display at night. |
Entertainment lots | Arcade halls, bowling alleys, billiards, and other recreation venues. |
Schools | Elementary, middle, and high schools for different life stages. Not editable in the current build. |
Resort facilities | In Cahaya, the Sri Lestari Resort includes pools, a spa, snorkeling stalls, arcades, and bars. |

Visiting mechanics
Zois can visit community lots by walking, driving a car, using the subway (Dowon), or fast-traveling on their smartphone. Each lot has operating hours displayed on the map. NPC Zois populate lots autonomously based on time of day and the lot's type. Restaurants fill up around mealtimes, gyms attract morning exercisers, and bars get busy at night.
NPC behavior on lots
Non-player Zois visit community lots on their own schedules. They eat at restaurants, exercise at gyms, and socialize at parks. Player Zois can interact with any NPC encountered on a lot, starting conversations, building relationships, or engaging in shared activities. NPCs react to the lot's purpose: they dance at clubs, read at cafes with bookshelves, and cheer during busking performances.
Lot editing
Community lots can be modified through the Edit City tool. Players can change a lot's appearance, swap furniture, redesign layouts, and add decorations. Some functional elements (like the karaoke machines or gym equipment) determine what activities are available on the lot, so removing them changes what Zois can do there. The 2026 Roadmap includes high school campus properties in Q1 as a new lot type.
Business lots
Since v0.5.0, players can purchase business properties through the Edit City window. Business lots can be configured as cafes, restaurants, bakeries, florist shops, and bars. The owner manages staff, hours, menu, and finances through the business ownership system. See the Coffee and Beverages article for the cafe business workflow.
