Overview
The Resort Island is one of three islands that make up Cahaya in the Island Getaway DLC. While the main island focuses on work and everyday life (farming, fishing, mining), and the Deserted Island offers survival-style exploration, the Resort Island is dedicated to recreation and relaxation. Visitors can book multi-night stays in villas, enjoy sports and gaming activities, visit the cat temple, and treat themselves at premium spa facilities.
The Resort Island uses its own currency system, Resort Coins, which can be earned through arcade games, treasure hunting, and event participation. These coins can be traded for special rewards not available elsewhere.
Getting There
There are two ways to reach the Resort Island from the main island:
Method | Details |
|---|---|
Boat rental | Rent one of six available boat types from the main island. Controls work the same as standard walking and driving mechanics. Renting a boat also lets you explore the open ocean and visit the Deserted Island. |
Boat taxi | An instant fast-travel service between Cahaya's three islands. Use this for quick trips when you do not need to explore the water. |
You can also select the Resort Island as a destination when first traveling to Cahaya from Dowon or Bliss Bay, making it easy to start a vacation there directly.
Accommodations
Several villas are available for booking on the Resort Island, each with different amenities and styles. Some feature private swimming pools and premium furnishings. Bookings are arranged for multi-night stays, making them ideal for vacation getaways.
A variety of villas to choose from, ranging from basic to luxury
Some villas include private swimming pools
Accommodations can be expensive; additional extras increase the total cost
Note: Villa interiors cannot be modified or decorated by players. These are pre-furnished vacation rentals, not customizable homes.

Miatara Temple (Cat Temple)
The Miatara Temple is located on the southern side of the Resort Island. While inZOI does not yet have a full pet system, the cat temple lets Zois interact with cats in a dedicated, atmospheric setting. The temple is considered a cultural landmark of Cahaya, dedicated to the island's guardian cats.
Temple Shop
The temple shop sells several cat-related items:
Item | Use |

Cat treats | Feed to temple cats to interact with them |
Cat toys | Play with the cats using toys |
Talisman | Temple souvenir; may have mood or luck effects |
Catnip Candy | Unique candy that triggers special cat interaction animations |

Feed, play with, and observe the temple cats
Draw fortunes at the temple; results may boost or reduce your Zoi's mood and luck
Meditate in the temple grounds for relaxation and stress relief

Spa and Wellness
The Resort Island's spa facilities offer premium relaxation services. Treatments restore needs (particularly Fun and Hygiene) and improve your Zoi's mood. Spa visits are a good way to reset a stressed Zoi during a vacation.
Treatment | Description |
|---|---|
Sauna | Traditional heat therapy for stress relief |
Foot Massage | Targeted foot relaxation treatment |
Hand Massage | Gentle hand treatment |
Scalp Massage | Head and scalp therapy |
Fish Foot Soak | Specialty fish pedicure experience where small fish nibble dead skin |
Rose Foot Soak | Aromatic rose petal soak for feet |

Massage treatments are available in two formats: seated treatments (foot, hand, scalp) in massage chairs, and full-body treatments on dedicated massage tables with staff assistance. Catered food is available in the spa area as well.
Social Venues
The Resort Island includes several social gathering spots:
Resort lobby: A central meeting point with a large shark display aquarium
DJ performance area: Live DJ sets for evening entertainment and parties
Pool and beach areas: Open social spaces where Zois can mingle, make friends, and enjoy the scenery
Dining areas: Resort restaurants serving catered meals
Tips
Bring enough Meow to exchange for Resort Coins before heading to the arcade. Running out of coins mid-visit means another trip to the exchange.
Book villa stays for multiple nights to get the full resort experience. Short visits may not leave enough time for all activities.
Visit the Miatara Temple early in your stay. Fortune draws can affect your Zoi's mood for the rest of the vacation.
Use the spa when your Zoi's Fun or Hygiene needs are low. Spa treatments are more effective than basic showers for mood recovery.
Check the weekly event schedule. Turtlebot Races and Lucky Draws only run on certain days, so plan your visit accordingly.
Snorkeling doubles as both entertainment and income; sell found treasures for Resort Coins to fund more activities.
