Overview
Porygon is one of the more difficult Pokemon to attract in Pokemon Pokopia because its habitat requires a Science Experiment item that normally needs 230 Pokedex entries to unlock. This guide covers both the standard method and a shortcut for obtaining the required items.
Researcher's Desk Habitat
Porygon is attracted to the Researcher's Desk habitat. The required items are:

Item | Quantity | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
Table | 2 | Craft at Workbench (Lumber) |
Computer | 1 | Craft at Workbench: 2 Pokemetal + 2 Glass; also found in Sparkling Skylands or purchased from PC Shop |
Science Experiment | 1 | Recipe unlocks at 230 Pokedex entries; OR find one in the abandoned museum at Rocky Ridges |
Building Steps
Place two Tables side by side.
Set the Science Experiment on one table and the Computer on the other.
Bring a Pokemon with the Generate specialty (such as Pikachu, Elekid, or Pawmi) to the Computer to power it on.
Wait briefly. Porygon will spawn nearby.
Science Experiment Shortcut
You do not need 230 Pokedex entries to get a Science Experiment. One pre-built Science Experiment is located inside the abandoned museum in Rocky Ridges. This saves a significant amount of late-game grinding. However, you still need to reach Rocky Ridges (requires Great Trainer Rank).

Tips
The Computer must be powered on for the habitat to work. If you move the Generate Pokemon away, the Computer turns off and the habitat deactivates.
Porygon's Recycle specialty converts Nonburnable Garbage into Iron Ore and Wastepaper into Paper, making it very useful for resource management.
After befriending Porygon, unlocking the Wireless Power Transmitter recipe requires fulfilling Porygon's music request (place a CD Player nearby).
