Overview

The Oven is a dedicated cooking station in Starsand Island that handles baked goods. Unlike the Campfire and Gas Stove, which share the same pool of 80 dish recipes, the Oven has its own set of 7 exclusive recipes that cannot be prepared on any other station. These recipes cover cookies, cakes, toast, and roasted items.

The Oven fills a gap in the cooking system. Players who only use the Campfire and Gas Stove will miss out on several high-value dishes and two recipes that grant unique buffs tied to luck-based minigames. Building an Oven is not just cosmetic; it meaningfully expands your cooking options.

How to Obtain

There are several ways to get the Oven. The most straightforward method is purchasing the blueprint, but exploration and progression also provide access.

Purchasing the Blueprint

The Oven Blueprint is sold at the Aureleaf Kitchen in Starsand Town for 2,500 Coins. The shop is run by Aurelis and is open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. After purchasing the blueprint, craft the Oven at your Worktable and place it on your property.

The Aureleaf Kitchen also sells the Gas Stove Blueprint (1,000 Coins) and Juicer Blueprint (550 Coins). The Oven Blueprint is the most expensive cooking station blueprint available.

Oven vs. Other Cooking Stations

The three main cooking stations in the game serve different roles. The Campfire and Gas Stove overlap completely in terms of recipes, while the Oven occupies its own niche.

The Oven does not replace the Campfire or Gas Stove. It is a supplementary station that covers a category of food the other two cannot make. For a fully equipped kitchen, you need at least one Campfire or Gas Stove, one Juicer, and one Oven.

The Oven cooks 7 exclusive recipes, all categorized as baked goods. Two of these recipes grant temporary buffs related to luck-based activities. The remaining five are standard stamina-recovery dishes.

Two of the seven Oven recipes grant temporary buffs. Both buffs improve your odds at luck-based minigames.

Both buffs are situational. Eat a Prosperity Cake right before buying scratch cards to boost your payout, and pop Wishful Heart Cookies before using the gashapon machine for better results.

Clay Oven Chicken is the highest-selling Oven recipe at 493g per dish. It requires Fowl, Soy Sauce, and Cooking Oil, all of which are readily available from ranching and the Brewing Barrel. If you are cooking for profit, Clay Oven Chicken is the clear winner among Oven recipes.

Best for Stamina

Clay Oven Chicken also leads in stamina restoration at +154 per serving, making it the most efficient Oven recipe for both energy and profit. Cloud-Soft Toast (+102) is a solid budget alternative that only requires Flour and Sugar.

Best for Gifting

Several NPCs appreciate baked goods as gifts. Check each character's gift preferences to see which Oven recipes they like. In particular, Wishful Heart Cookies and Cloud-Soft Toast are popular choices for raising affection with villagers.

To prepare all 7 Oven recipes, you need the following ingredients. Stock up on Flour and Sugar in particular, as they appear in 5 of the 7 recipes.

Tips

• Build multiple Ovens if you plan to bake in bulk. Like other cooking stations, each Oven cooks one dish at a time, and cooking takes real in-game time. Having 2 to 3 Ovens running simultaneously saves a lot of waiting.

• Set up ingredient pipelines. Most Oven recipes require processed ingredients (Flour, Sugar, Cooking Oil, Soy Sauce, Fine Salt). Keep your Separator, Brewing Barrel, and Charcoal Kiln stocked with raw materials so you always have ingredients on hand.

• Grow Wheat and Beetroot/Sugarcane early. Flour and Sugar are needed for 5 of the 7 Oven recipes. Planting these crops early and running them through the Separator ensures a steady supply.

• Save Prosperity Cakes for scratch card sessions. The Big Winner buff lasts 120 seconds. Buy several scratch cards at once, eat the cake, then scratch them all during the buff window.

• Clay Oven Chicken is the Oven's money maker. At 493g sell price, it is the most profitable Oven recipe and worth cooking in batches for regular income.
