Mire Metal Ingot is the third-tier refined metal in Windrose, associated with the Cursed Swamps biome. It is the material gate for the Enchanting Table, the Bellows (Weaponsmith upgrade), the Distiller (Alchemy Table upgrade), and the Jeweller's Bench (Jewellery Table upgrade).

Mire Metal Ingot is crafted at the Large Smelting Furnace from 2 Ancient Scraps + 1 Quagmire Powder per ingot (30 second duration). Both ingredients come from the Cursed Swamps biome: Ancient Scraps are looted from ruin chests, sunken ships, and bog pockets, while Quagmire Powder drops from Plague enemies (witches, hunters, warriors). It is not mined as raw ore.

Mire Metal unlocks the highest tier of station upgrades available at Early Access launch. The Enchanting Table opens up enchanted materials and gear, while the Bellows and Distiller push weapon crafting and alchemy into their endgame forms. Players typically reach Mire Metal after fully clearing the Foothills and establishing a foothold in the Cursed Swamps.
