Where It Is Used
Millstones. [object Object] are the primary Hewn Stone sink. Each millstone recipe is built around processed stone rather than raw stone, which makes Hewn Stone production the main bottleneck on millstone construction
Bellows attachment. The Bellows attachment uses 5 Hewn Stone alongside Mire Metal Ingots and Crocodile Hide Pieces
Higher-tier base building. Upper-tier walls, pillars, and decorative builds use Hewn Stone as their stone input rather than raw stone for more structural HP
Stone vs Hewn Stone
Raw Stone is gathered from rock nodes with any pickaxe. Hewn Stone requires a processing step: three raw Stones are turned into one Hewn Stone at the Workbench. That conversion rate means a given stone run produces roughly one third as many Hewn Stones as raw Stones. Plan mining loops with the 3-to-1 ratio in mind so you do not run out of raw Stone halfway through a base-building session.
