24-Pounders: Devastating is a 24-pound ship cannon, a Rare-rarity modded variant that requires a Plans paper to unlock the recipe. Guns favored for raking fire that punish alignment errors brutally. Their shots tear through decks, guns, and crew alike, leaving damage that worsens with every blow. Brig and Frigate hulls support 24-pound cannons in their main battery, with some Blackbeard variants able to mount them on hulls that normally cap at lower caliber.

In-Game Effect
Hitting a target with more than 50 of a volley applies Raked effect for 25 seconds. All Damage dealt to affected targets is increased by 10%. Stacks up to 3 times.

When to Use
Devastating cannons apply the Raked debuff that multiplies all damage on hit targets. Best against high-HP hulls like Brethren Brigs and Frigates where the Raked uptime matters. Pair with Naval Tactics V: Silence the Guns to keep pressure on enemy reloads.
