Overview
Distiller is an alchemy craft station in Windrose. It is an upgrade extender for the Alchemy Table that unlocks the Epic Infused Elixir recipes. Each Infused Elixir takes a base Rare elixir and re-processes it with swamp reagents to double its buff duration.
What the Distiller Makes
The Distiller's confirmed role in the current build is producing Infused Elixirs, the Epic upgrades of the base Rare elixirs. A base elixir brewed at the Alchemy Table lasts 15 minutes; when fed back through the Distiller along with Bromeliad and Tear of Sorrow, the resulting Infused version keeps the same effect but runs for 30 minutes. Like the base station, the Distiller does not host its own menu: the recipes appear on the Alchemy Table craft list while the extender sits inside its footprint.
Infused Elixir | Recipe | Result |
|---|---|---|
1 Elixir of Cruelty + 3 Bromeliad + 2 Tear of Sorrow | Same effect, 30-minute duration | |
1 Elixir of Concentration + 3 Bromeliad + 2 Tear of Sorrow | Same effect, 30-minute duration |
Other base elixirs may gain Infused versions through the Distiller as the alchemy roster grows; the two above are the variants confirmed in the current build. Note that Grogs are not made here. The Deadeye, Hard, and Gunroom grogs all brew at the Alchemy Table with the Stove and Pot upgrade, not the Distiller. Likewise, the Brandy and Whiskey used in those grog recipes are imported spirits bought from the Brethren of the Coast Provisioner, not distilled in-game.

Upgrade Path
Distiller is an upgrade extender that snaps to an Alchemy Table. Placing it inside the base station's extender footprint unlocks the recipes gated behind this extender on the base station's own craft list. It does not craft items on its own; the base station handles all recipes. It sits alongside the other Alchemy extenders, so a workshop fitted with the Stove and Pot for grogs and the Distiller for Infused Elixirs covers the full alchemy output from one bench.
Placement Strategy
The Distiller is the heaviest of the Alchemy extenders by durability and sits at 7,500 Max Health, more than double the Stove and Pot. Mire Metal Ingot and Crocodile Hide Piece push this firmly into mid-game territory; both materials come from Swamp-tier content, which means the Distiller typically goes up after the first trip into the Foothills boss arenas or after a Coastal Jungle crocodile hunt. Because its only outputs are the Epic Infused Elixirs, hold off on building it until you are already brewing the base Rare elixirs and want to extend their buff windows for boss fights.
Tips
Farm Crocodile Hide Pieces from the Coastal Jungle crocodile spawn loops before starting the Distiller; two pieces per station can bottleneck a run.
Mire Metal Ingots come from the Large Smelting Furnace with Ancient Scraps and Quagmire Powder; make sure a refining camp is built out first.
Stockpile Bromeliad and Tear of Sorrow before a session of distilling. Each Infused Elixir eats 3 Bromeliad and 2 Tear of Sorrow on top of the base elixir, so a stack of either reagent disappears quickly when batch-upgrading.
Infused Elixirs occupy the same buff slot as their base versions, so you never need both at once. Distil the Infused version only when you want the 30-minute window for a long fight; for quick clears the cheaper 15-minute base elixir is enough.

Unlocked By
The Distiller recipe is unlocked through the Advanced Alchemy discovery, the late-game alchemy milestone tied to Cursed Swamps content and reagents such as Bromeliad.
Extends
Place the Distiller near the Alchemy Table so the table registers it as an attached extender and adds the Infused Elixir recipes to its craft list.
